Wow, this is the first video I've watched where all of the comments were positive and constructive! Thank you all of teaching me a bit about something which I know very little. Interesting to say the least...
yea girlslikdivin24 but there are good scuba diving stories on the net also. The myscubastory site has dive accident videos and stories, along with lots of other videos and stories on diving! Type mscubastory into google, and its the first one! enjoy
@jhartist123 Then go and do it. You will find many organisation are very willing to teach disabled people to dive. In many ways it could be the perfect activity for you and give you mobility you never thought possible. I've met a few paralysed divers over there years and there are even a couple of blind guys. Make the enquiry, you won't regret it! I'll even fly over and dive with you when you get your first Qualification!!!!!
If there's a strong current you need a negative entry so you can stick together as a group. If you prat about on the surface or leave a long gap, even 5 secs between divers, you'll lose your buddy.
Thankyou for the point... and indeed, point taken.. To be honest, have not yet had the pleasure of doing a dive such as this so therefore, i stand corrected !!... Its just me thinking safe safe safe..:)
Well the big difference with negative entry is that you'll sink like rock as soon as you hit the water, instead of floating like a seagull or something like that, as a positive entry would.
Why ?

the space between jumps is ridiculous !!... only adds to the chance a serious accident can happen !! Surely a 5 second space would have been better

agree on that!
