  • what is the ring juggling called?

by the way for those that don't know the s -staffs are called buugeng

  • @eddiedaskull "buugeng" is a relatively new term for the s-staffs that only came about after they became mass-produced.

The rings are called Isolation Rings. :P

  • Amazing video. it's like magic!

  • What are those S looking things called?

  • Commonly referred to as S-staffs.

There are a few different kinds. Michael created them as an example of seperating a complete circle and manipulating it.

On the same note, a couple other people have been working with this same concept. Noted earlier, Dai has his revolutionary Buugeng. Moon, a contact juggler, also is working on "Moogeng" using these shapes only made out of acrylic.

  • @WesternWheels they are also called Buugeng

  • buugeng

  • Looks like this guy has eaten a whole lot of acid in his time.

  • best performer ever

  • he almost got the anti-spin hoop

  • Thanks jeremy! In Motion with Michael Moschen was created for the Great Performances Series on America's National Public Television in 1991

  • This is firm proof that the 'buugeng' is not as original as we thought :-)

I beleive Michael first performed with 'S' staffs about 20 years ago. Anyone know exactly?

  • Indeed, but Dai does actually credit Michael Moschen on his website for having the original idea that inspired him.
