I recently became a big Stevie Ray Vaughan fan. I wish to god I grew up listening to his incredible music. I was only a year old when he passed away, and the funny thing about it was that my little brother was born two days after. If he were still alive, I would've loved to go watch him play on stage. Hell, I would've loved to see both Stevie and Jimmie together on stage. God Bless Ya, Stevie!
Win a chance to meet Jimmie Vaughn and also see him peform at The 1st Annual L.A. Guitar Festival! Follow My Local Buzz TV on Facebook for contest details...

saw jeff beck open for SRV a month b4 SRV died,I saw Stevie also but was on closed circuit TV while I stood in the long ass beer lines at Joe Louis Arena Detroit
@migbee one has to wonder why the nine are even watching this if they don't like the Brothers Vaughan. I have met JV and seen him perform; I regret never having had the chance to see SRV perform in person. I truly envy those who were privileged to see the brothers together as in this vid...
@Marunchak There's a picture of me when I'm like a year old, and Stevie is holding me. He used to be good friends with my dad :) Haha we even have his velvet cocaine bag with his initials scrawled in the inside..
wow!!! what it would of been to be sitting in the audience and to see this live. but its also awsome to have it recorded and watch it today. incredible.
so i say, before u trash talk somebody...make sure u understand what the fudge (i'm 7, i can't cuss yet) they're comment is about! coz it makes u look like ax-holes when ur in the same team and then u trash talk ur teammate! JOHN MOTHERFUCKIN' MAYER CAN EAT SHIT COZ HE'S NEVER GONNA BE AS GOOD AS SRV's PINKEE FINGER!!!
@phenom1sama, @ZaaMixtli1.. no, actually i'm just 7...and if u read the context of my message u probably would understand that i said..I FEEL LIKE PUKING COZ SOMEBODY COMMENTED THAT MAYER HAS MORE FEELING AND ORIGINALITY THAN BOTH HENDRIX AND SRV..SEE..QUESTION MARK AND PUNCTUATION MARK AT THE END OF THE COMMENT..SEE?...LOOK..FOR REAL...THEY'RE THERE...LOOK..SEE IT?...LOOK CLOSER! hahahahahahaha.
@phenom1sama , @ZaaMixtli1...now..if u read the topmost comment...from @apbou812..the previous comment i made was a re-joinder to his comment..LOOK..SEE..CAN U READ?....NO, FOR REAL...READ HIS COMMENT...THEN READ MY COMMENT...NOW, DO U UNDERSTAND WHAT I WAS TRYING TO SAY?...SORRY, I'M JUST A 7YR OLD WHO HAPPENS TO NOT ONLY APPRECIATE THE VAUGHAN BROTHERS, BUT CAN ACTUALLY PLAY TOO...i'm go tell my mom....MOOOOOOOOM!! Wow, seeing Jimmy and Stevie rockin' with such joy is just so cool! I just know that Jimmy would give anything to have his baby brother back. But being a brother is often hard - we love each other, hate each other, fight, scrap and compete - often in the very same week. But I'm always telling my two boys, "ALWAYS remember God gave you an incredible gift in your brother - so no matter WHATever happens, NEVER let ANYTHING come between the two of you, it's truly not worth it! Peace brothers!
they were not just brothers but the best of friends and fought like it also. there wasnt a day they did get into something but there wasnt a day that they were never there for the other.
I really appreciate this video being posted! What a blast these guys must've had growing up together... Also, I must have heard 'Pipeline' hundreds of times on radio back in the 60's as a little kid. Hearing that tune again... I was thinking it was the Ventures, playing Mosrite guitars who had that hit, but I see it was the Chantays.
I'm the "loser" . What I was saying is that even tho there is no bigger fan of SRV than myself, John Mayer has indeed done much to expand on what SRV was doin. His heroin use stunted his growth as a musician for awhile. I mean that in the best way, look at where Clapton is now for example. We got robbedof his sober years and what would have been another leap forward.
Two brothers who not only are EXTREMELY talented but also share a love of music. Thank god we have this video and god bless Stevie Ray Vaughn. Man you left us way too soon.
@CatapultYourMom if your referring to the video of them both playing together, then you dont know what the f your talking about, the video is freakin awesome!

Anyone that doesn't think Jimmy Vaughn is a great guitarist needs to watch this video a little closer. Not only is he playing with his arms around his brother, but notice he doesn't even see the frets after 1:42!
Stevie Ray will always be part of my soul, I saw him perform many times. Bless you Stevie Ray Vaughn. Bless you Jimmy Vaughn for being his older and wiser brother.
