  • 0:17 SHE LIKE A JOEY RAMONE

  • Thqnks for the clear answer smartass.

  • Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • @AreJeezy this is 10 times better than the original version, or any misfits song for that matter.

  • I aint no god damned son of a bitch.

  • wow amazing!!!! you have to be soo narrow minded to dislike this

  • this is better than original one too! gorgeous!

  • @ everyone that is surprised by the reaction of danzig/misfits fans: really? the kind of people that are super into that are either A: 14 years old, or B: a 30 year old dishwasher. either way, their opinion is not in any way, shape or form valid.

  • very fuckin nice video and song

  • lol all you people who hate this are retards, at least he did something different and made it work. to paraphrase the kennedys SKATER PUNK FUCK OFF

  • for everyone saying this is an "emo" cover, it is a reflection of your own insecurities, the song has the same fucking sentiment glenn originally wrote it with, it's just represented in a different way. better or worse does not factor into music, it is not a competition. you are afraid of being this exposed, it makes you piss yourselves, look at you, all of that anger is really just fear.

  • @TuMira85 No, it sounds like Leonard Cohen covered the misfits.

  • they took a badass punk song and made it sound like some emo whiney bullshit!

  • @armi1515 tsc tsc tsc for you

  • No sir,I dont like it............

  • I disapprove of this cover. 1.2/5. I would have liked this, however I'm straight. Also, the black and white thing isn't working. It makes this particular video boring. Try a different song next time. The whole "goddamn son....." over and over loses it's impact when you say it so slow. Sorry.

  • @bigkingv tsc tsc tsc for you

  • @bigkingv FAG.

  • I'm in love with this song

  • This is blasphemy

  • Where was this filmed?

  • New York.

  • personally i like all tipes of covers as long as money isn't the only reason. Cover is in my opinion the best hommage to the author and to the work, especially if the cover artist finds a new (or a different) depth to the song and author, and sometimes cover versions trully expose the greatness of a sog ( White stripes-jolene, aimals- house of the risig son, johnny cash hurt, cowboy jukies-sweet jane, hendrix- all along the watch tower....

  • i like :)

  • love it. and evry1 whos bagging on it stop bitching its a TRIBUTE

  • that was absolutely beautiful

  • Its a shame to hear people bash this...its better than what the misfits and Glen Danzig Combined have been doing for the past decade...Its a nice tribute to a great poet Glen (even if he is a closet homo) to cover some of his best songs...

  • @deansheridan agree.but last two decades instead.

  • if you really like music you better like all of it and for all that its worth. Why bash it you assholes? Pajo is an amazing artist. Whether he didnt write the lyrics or not, you should admire what hes doing and what he has done. I love the misfits and i love pajo. both albums are down right awesome. fuck yeah to both. go suck a dick if you dont have anything good to say about what others do other wise keep it shut.

  • this whole vinyl is great- the apocalypse lyrics of the misfits strangely fit with pajo's style... sleepy delivery makes it all about the words which for misfits songs makes a strange/cool experience

  • wow - i wouldn't expect any less from a member of Slint.

    amazing.

  • All this was a great surprise to me because i thought that this was going to be absolute shit (acoustic Misfits anyone? Go back to college) and not even worthy for mongrels to yelp to.

This made me think "Hmmm... Wonder what his other stuff is like, I'll look him up" which means its one nil at half time for this fella, but it is a game of two halves at the end of the day.

  • Right, I thought that this was actually really good. Lovely tone, pace and irony present throughout with just the right amount of lo-fi noise (that was probably added digitally but who cares). It worked very well with the video even though the video consisted of not much at all really; just some mates ponsing around etc. Apart the bit at 3.06. What a marvelous bit of cutting. Well done that man. Bravo!

  • Cry-baby? Hahahahaha...oof I'm crushed.

No, I just think this musician has much more in him than reinventing someone else's material. That's a compliment too, not a jab.

And yeah I totally mean post-ironic. Typing too fast and thinking too slow.

  • i liked it, unlike the crybaby before me.

  • Ugh.

    How post-irony.

    How clever.

    Trite.

    As.

    Fuck.

And disappointing coming from a musician who should be writing his own material.

  • i think you mean post-ironic. it's not like he's doing a polka cover to ode to joy while theres a video of a buddhist monk setting himself on fire with a woman giving birth.

  • fantastic

  • nice work maximilla

  • Totally RAD!!!
