@stickydog480 possession charges have led many harmless people to years in prison, especially a while ago, and they turn around being worse off than they initially would be. the reason i didn't list sellers is because they're usually involved with a gang or do other illegal activities i don't condone. most serious drug dealers sell more than just pot, and they're known to be violent or use weapons.
most users who get out of jail for possession may end end up selling drugs too.

@MrFightthesystem clearly. i don't know what world he's in. i will admit that its more grandfathered marijuana laws that were more heavy into incarceration compared to now, but years ago it was extremely common (especially aimed at minorities) and today you still see it happening. me and 4 other friends got busted over possession ourselves. yes, sometimes the judge/police yawn and look over weed possession cases and simply fine them, but some enforce penalties and convictions!
