  • Mind sharing the vise model?

  • Your gonna be sorry you did not put weight on the fly when you fish it :(

Also, the hackle should be wrapped from the front to the back, tying it down with a silver or gold tinsel rip.

  • nice fly i used a green one like that and i didnt know the name i thought it was some kind of bug or bomber

  • oh you woolly bugger!

  • why do fish strike at these, what are they supposed to resemble?

  • @iluvfatchx Depending on color and style, I've seen these things resemble anything from a big minnow to a large grub and even a crawdad. Depends on color, style and size.

  • te keo picante la wea!!!

  • good job but what uu do to keep the hackle from getting in the way is to buy a spring and put it around the vice where the handle and turny thingy is and you can put materials in the wires of the spring

  • Red and orange are great for the worm hatches in the north east.

  • Is woolly bugger another name for sheep shagging?

  • what?

  • You heard me. Whoever downraved me obviously didn't get it.

  • this inspired me to go tie a wooly bugger, even though i suck at it. It's still fun though. Some people put lead wire on to keep the wooly bugger down?

  • Thats what i do!!! put lead wire on it to keep it under water

  • did u use more then 1 feather for ur marabou? my tials are tiny compared to yours

  • It really depends what type of marabou feather you use, and where you get it from. When you get to a fly shop, and want to buy a material, feel free to take the feathers out of the bag slightly, and just take a look at the individual feathers. Just make sure that all of them go back in the bag.

  • Good one, nice use of the vise.

  • size hook?

  • Went a bit mad on the marabou IMO.

  • It gives the fly a great look and ovoides unsightly gaps.

  • why turn the holder instead o0f just ur fingers

  • turning the vise is alot easier than having to move your fingers all over the place

  • You tied it properly. Always palmer back to front on Wooly Buggers.
