First 5 minutes with the Palm Foleo

more crap to carry around. this is a palm pilot with a keyboard and a big screen, or a laptop with the functionality of a palm.  it would be neat if it were at least touchscreen. nothing new. boring.

just seems like another thing to have to put in your bag. So now you have: treo, laptop, and foleo.

I didn't have a chance to test this out, but if you see in one of the hardware settings shots there look to be keyboard shortcut settings to make launching apps much easier than using a pointer/mouse.

It might be too late for you to answer now, but could you set hardware buttons/software key combos for launching programs or a recently/most used program list? It just seems since they kept a traditional program list and not having a proper mouse will increase the amount of time needed to move between programs. Also those configuration screens might need tweaking to reduce pointer travel between controls.
