@aranza744 It's the remnants of a star, the Veil Nebula. The initial shock from the supernova sent hot matter shooting through space at some 600,000 kph and, as the matter cools, it gives off energy with a unique signature we can use to identify the elements. What you're actually seeing is a composite close-up, showing the oxygen (blue), hydrogen (red), and sulfur (green).
