haha i have a great dane too and she is deathly afraid of it, even when its off. she also hate thunderstorms hahhaha. but she's soooo sweet and loving great dane's are probably the best dog breed:)
This is funny, it reminds me of both my danes. Bowser he used to bite the vacuum and pull it out of my hands. Clifford he used to get his favorite toy and hide at the other end of the house protecting his plush turtle toy. I miss them both so much.

@DarkRebelCafe I didn't say he was getting hurt, I just think that state of mind is unhealthy, i have a half dane who would go off like this at a brrom, i trained her out of it by sticking food in the broom, and around it, now shes so much calmer and happier cause she doesn't live in a tense "OMG where's the broom? there it is! must get it now!" and thats what this pup is going though. how would you like it if everytime someone got out the vaccum, u went insane? wouldn't u rather be calm?

I have to lock my dane mix in another room to sweep, vacuum or swiffer.... he's crazy for it!!
