@SebassTheDJ Yeah the 13" is big enough :) If I were you, I'd buy the 13". Saves you a lot of money and it's easier to carry.

@SluggerJT44 It's great, it's at eyeheight when I use it in the way I did in the video. I don't touch my laptop very often during a set, just my controller, so this is perfect for me :)

@thijsvanhasselt Ok Cool. Also One more question, in torq is there a way to update the browser without restarting torq? For example at a gig you downloaded a song during your set and and put it into itunes or another music folder. Is there a way you could refresh the browser to use that song without restarting the torq software?

@SluggerJT44 Hmm no I'm afraid not.. But I'm quite sure you can just look up the song in the browser of Torq. Not in the iTunes playlist but just browse the harddisk.

@burn5495 We used 2 laptops ;) We then plugged the master output of the Xponent into one channel of the 4D. Thanks for the compliment!

@rickydlp We connected each midi controller to a different laptop and then manually synces up Traktor on both computers. The output of the Xponent runs through the Xone.

@walteur Prima apparaat :) Heeft voor- en nadelen ten opzichte van de Xone, maar dat is wel logisch.

zieke mix....al verwachte ik op 2:39 toch echt een dikke drop. Wel errug veel filtergebruik. Maar dan ook echt veel, al snap ik dat wel met een Xone, maar toch. en vanaf 5:14 was ff niet geweldig met een scheef loopje. op 6:36 liep ie niet helemaal recht, maar das mierenneuken. Persoonlijk had ik liever wat meer EQ werk gezien. Dus niet alleen de bass ;) Hier heb je mischien iets meer aan als alleen 'good mix'

@audioh0lic Thanks voor je comment :D Hier hebben we echt wat aan! Die drop op 2:39 mis ik ook inderdaad.. Hij komt eigenlijk te laat. We zitten er sterk aan te denken om met de '2e' setup ook over te stappen op Traktor. Torq synced gewoon niet lekker, de comments die je geeft op het niet goed lopen zijn daar aan te wijten. Met Traktor hebben we nooit problemen :) De filters kan ik gewoon niet vanaf blijven :P Ik moet er echt bij nadenken om er soms af te blijven. Maar ze zijn zo lekker :D

its going fine, starting with producing at the moment. had a cool b-party saturday. spinned there with the xone92 + 2 x 1d's it was fuckin' awesome. the people really liked my music. played awesome technoshit @ 132 bpm. btw did you check my last liveset on soundcloud ? its awesome !

@ballyslapface You're totally right, we don't have to do this with two persons. It's really difficult to mix al lot of electro songs with eachother at the same time. When we mix techno or minimal, 4 hands come in handy ;) We are still looking at ways to improve our performance. We're trying out Ableton live now. Stay tuned and thanks for the comment!

@DzoneDJ Dankje :) We hadden erg goede concurrentie, daarnaast viel onze stijl en manier van draaien (midi) niet zo in de smaak bij de jury volgens mij :P Maarja, er zijn nog genoeg andere contests ;)

@gamergrounds We tried using the midi ports, but the bpm kept fluctuating.. So we just set a master tempo of 130 bpm on both programs and then nudged Traktor in sync with Torq :) In this way, they will keep in sync the whole time :D The only problem is that you can't change the bpm easily. You have to sync again then.
