  • hahah praise the Lord. i have neve seen japanise christians i a,m beyond blessed.

  • The most powerful God in the world is the one you know in your soul, beyond this earth, with a distinct separation from humanity. Belief in God is rendered illegitimate and fake when it is a result of following a carefully prescribed human formula. This formula imposes values contingent upon and made obvious through Scriptures written in a particular time, place, and cultural context. Thus, everyone's religion is a truthful interpretation of the same thing, nullifying the need to convert.

  • @DwydAsh Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I see a lot of truth in this, yet disconnected. Whether or not I believe in God is not the issue. No religion leads to the same path. Christianity is God changing the heart of man. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one (i.e. religion, person, thing, fill in the blank) comes to the Father except through Me." We must filter thoughts of man through the Bible. Love to hear your thoughts. thanks, andy

  • I hear that thousands of buddhists are trying to spread the good news of Buddhism to the "unreached" in North America. How would you feel if your friends and family got converted away from Christianity to Buddhism? No you wouldn't for sure. The only reason they don't complain about Christian missions is that they are tolerant whereas you Christians are not.

  • @sweetsweatyfeet Thanks for your comments!I would be hurt if my friend or family were to follow another religion. Great question. I know Christians (still sinners like all of us) will try to "convert" you, but that is wrong. Only God can draw people to himself. I became a Xn through buddies at college building a relationship with me and modeling what it means to know Christ through pointing me to the Bible and hanging out with other Xns who were genuine in their faith. Make sense? thx, andy

  • I believe Christianity is the DEVIL's RELIGION!!! Christians do nothing but preach HATE and BIAS under a false pretense of peace n love! Christianity is like the Devil Snake in the Garden of Eden telling Innocent Eve to take a bite out of a beautiful tasting apple, only for Eve to late find herself and Adam CASTED AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Christianity is a cult too. The greatest con job ever inflicted on the human race. Japan these days is mostly atheist/agnostic. Shinto, Buddhism and Samurai have an influence in Japanese philosophy and culture but that's about it. Modern Japan is too evolved for primitive bronze age tripe of Christianity. Less than 1% are Christian.

  • Hey Socksumi,

Thanks for your comments. While you make some important points about various religions, I have to disagree that as a follower of Jesus Christ, I am not walking around with furry man-made clothing and a club. ;-) I believe that Christianity is about relationship with God (inclusive through a relationship with Christ), while a cult is about rituals (sometimes weird, sinister) taking glory away from Jesus Christ. It is exclusive.

  • Sorry but I am an atheist. We simply don't believe Christianity is true. It's all fabrication designed to control you and establish theocracy (early Roman Catholic Church selected, compiled and continuously edited the content of the NT).

Biblical claims are so ludicrous as to defy science, reason and believability. Scriptures are appropriate for bronze age primitives because they were written by bronze age primitives. There is no personal divine entity; it's just wishful thinking and delusion.

  • Hey Socksumi. I am sry that I didn't realize you were an atheist. Seems like you have done a lot of reading. Ever consider the Bible as an accurate historical and science book? I agree that many stories defy science, reason and believability. That's where faith comes in. Just like the simple of example of wind. You see evidence of it, but never "see" it, but you have faith that it's there, right? Ever read up on C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity? Hope to hear back from you. thx, andy

  • @socksumi

"•The four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, were widely accepted as canonical books of scripture by the beginning of the 2nd century AD, about 70 years after Jesus was crucified. At the same approximate time, Clement of Rome wrote about the New Testament for the first time. "

Untill 313 AD Christianity was illegal in the Roman empire.

  • I soooo want to goooooooo there!!! im praying GOD that one day He'll take me to JAPAN! thats my WISH, MY PASSION and MY DREAM!
