ur totally wrong...no offense!^-^' the dei in deidara is pronounces like "day" in japan. akatsuki is pronounced like ak-otts-ki, which is easy to prove cause they say it in the anime. (japanese and english)

I always pronounced it 'deh-dear-ah' and 'a-kat-su-ki'/or 'Ah-cat-sue-key' if that makes more sense. But then again, I don't follow the Anime very closely so the pronunciation doesn't matter as much to me. How you assume things are pronounced depends on your accent, for example, a person with an American accent would pronounce it differently to someone with an English accent...
