  • how can i download this video to use in my RE project?

  • this is my dawg moby , Best Film Ever, ! Best End Theme song ,, just Shawshank redemtion(entrance in prison theme ) can try to test this music !

  • Heat movie song !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yep, end credits!!

  • I love the album this song is on. One of my favorites by Moby.

  • this music makes it hard to breath if you listen to it.... awesome :)

  • Heat is THE BEST ending ever made, and this song makes it BETTER, a lot BETTER

  • "Heat is THE BEST ending ever made."

^^ It's definately one of the best endings - if not the best.

Hearing Di Nero say "I'm going home" then slowly fading away, leaving the two cinematic Gods on-screen; two mortal enemies who are brothers in the face of death - yeah, that's just about the most awesome, memorable ending I've ever seen.

The ending of Castaway is also brilliant. But there's just something about Heat. There will never be another movie quite like it.

  • This music really makes the final scene in heat

  • isnt that one of the ps3 visual player options?

  • beatiful

  • listen to lil wayne's song Im me and see if he didnt take the beat from this moby song

  • lil wayne did steal dis beat, but just sped up the rhytms

  • yea, one night, while moby was asleep, lil wayne snuck into his house and stole this song in hopes of one day exploiting it and making it big.

Its called SAMPLING you dumbshits, and he got permission from Moby to use this song. I'm getting real, real tired of ppl who say rappers "steal" songs. Some of the best songs in Hip-Hop are sampled, and a lot of times way better than the original. Did this moby song even hit the music charts????? I know weezy's did.

  • it is STEALING. i dont care if they have permission or not, its still USING other peoples music. if something isnt urs and u use it, isnt that stealing?

  • well, technically, if you have someone's permission to use something you are not stealing. you are borrowing, or sampling in this case.

  • um, no. nothing was TAKEN. Moby still owns the rights and is the original creator to this song, he still has it. Basically, if you accept a gift from somebody, you are not a thief.

  • did moby put a copyright on this beat...NOOOOOO!

  • im not a dumbshit bitch. i know how the fuckin rap game work.... and your rite some of the best rap songs are sampled or came from other artist, but they add there own mix to it 2 make it different. i didnt mean literally he stole his beat, i ment as in his own. fuckin newbie

  • I get what your saying man, but at the same time, u cant discredit the original version. But your right, ppl need to stop about the hole stealing and stuff.

  • definitely, and Lil wayne usually does a good job of giving credits. Yeah, it is important to give credit to the original artists and such. Anyway, I'm glad to see I'm not only person annoyed when someone says "he stole this song".

  • this song may have not hit the charts, but if it wasnt for this original version, lil waynes song would of never became what it turned out to be, so u cant say anything bad about Moby. Lil Waynes song would be toast if this song sample wasnt used or even existed, sped up or not.

  • either way, he would of sampled a different song and it prolly would of been just as successful. i dont dislike moby, i just wish ppl would understand the definition of "sampling"

  • yip, I guess the more we evolve the idea of a god becomes remote

  • religion is about to end people, its sad but what can we do, every day now ufos are being detected from radar, fighter jets ets its over.

  • religion is just an institution... a group run by a smaller group out of fear, i.e., for the sake of money....... money is the excuse fear gives to is... also ... religious people are POETICALLY ILLITERATE... that in itself accounts for its irrationality in life... religion is an immature interpretation of something deep....

  • Sorry man thats the sun moving behind the moon look closer...

  • Instead, I think that my life is an eternity as is my thought... everything leaves a lasting mark... everything is scarred with emblems of their creation.... one thought constitutes billions of lives in that case... every thing is infinite in an inside-out sort of way.... the fact that infinite exists suggests that no frame can tie this reality down to anything...

  • That was beautiful :')

  • AND KNOW THE LIFE OF THIS WORLD IS BUT

BREIF ENJOYMENT AND SOON YOU SHALL RETURN TO US ohh mankind there is life after death THINK why are we on this earth THERE HAS 2 BE A REASON WE CAN,T JUST EAT DRINK AND SLEEP AND THEN GO TO OUR GRAVES IT DOES NOT MAKE SENCE TURN TO ALLAH HE IS ALL FORGIVEING (salaam ) peace out

  • thats such a stereotypical thing to say.... most religious people make use of that.... i agree that life does not end... i think we have theoretically solved this (law of thermodynamics; energy cannot be destroyed).... but i believe there is life beyond this only because i dont constitute life using parameters such as time, distance and all other such finite fixtures because they are just rules for a game... we use them when we play the game known as the "state"....

  • heat..great movie.......by 1 of the most brilliant directors of our time.....MICHAELA MANN, who also did collateral and the Last of the Mohicans....<3

  • ummm i think its called A CLOUD!!!!

  • GOD Is With us, Even until the End of this World........

  • This song is on fire...get it? HEAT.

  • beautiful...

  • ths is a wrk of art who ever wrote ths song.

  • Moby

  • TOO SHORT...

  • Defiantly, should be 10 minutes or s.

  • you are 100% correct, it is probably one of the most moving scenes of cinema for me.

  • s13hybrid - SAME HERE! ABSOLUTLY!

  • I watched it again last weekend. I'd forgotten what an amazing film it was. I only bought the DVD 'cos it was a fiver as I'd spent loads on other stuff....

A fiver well spent I say!

  • A masterpiece like Heat should never sell for as low as 5 bucks. Shame on that store owner!

  • Its always great to find something like this on the net every now and then, after putting up with so much bullshit...........Beautiful.............

absolutely amazing theres also a part 1 if you want to watch link on the right

  • this is my fav song from him

    so peaceful

  • so very very pretty

  • how can i play that on piano?

  • A few have this music on videos where it is inappropriate "Toyoko in Motion" and especially "Version 2" doesn't make sense to have the music. It works with this video. It is appropriate here.

  • Lovely piece of music.

  • I had this song as my main default song on myspace for a long time. It has such a special and deep meaning to me. It is still on my myspace page, but now included in a Moby song music play list. Smiles and blinks. I so love Moby!

  • I love this melody, everytime i watch HEAT and I listen to this song I get moved...; it's also the track in the european dvd main menu, and in fact i loved listenin to it before startin the moovie

  • After hearing this masterpiece, many people will understand why hip hop is so stupid

  • You cannot really compar to music genres to each other, each is a masterpiece of its own.

It's like trying to compare a sports car to a first class bike.

  • No they won't. People have different taste. Some will like a redneck hillbilly wailing better than this and some like hard rock etc. We love this, you and me, but everyone else has their favorites.

  • Robert DeNiro, one of the greatest actors along with Al Pacino.

  • love ya girl

  • I really love this song! moby is a great artist! His music touch the heart.

music from Heat with Al Pacino, Robert De niro and Val Kilmer.

  • The earth looks so peacefull, we live in hope. Played Mr Blue.

  • Music from X FACTOR Finally found it!!!

What a masterpeice and beautiful! GREAT POST!

  • very nice

  • It's ashame it doesn't pull back showing all the planets in or solar system and then onwards revealing galaxy after galaxy showing some of the majesty of space on the way.A bit tricky i would imagine

  • tricky probably but i agree that would have been really cool!

  • this song is cryable....beautiful masterpiece

  • this song is the ending theme of Heat with Al Pacino and Robert de Niro, great one

  • I agree. I damn near cried at the end of heat.

  • I have the heat soundtrack and this piece is the closing of the movie, but is not the same.I like more the one of the movie, eventhough there are only slight variations.

  • this music on the end of heat with pacino and de niro holding hands is the greatest bit of cinametography EVA

  • I agree, I have the 10 min. version of this song...

  • Vi el final de heat y se me puso el vello de punta. Esta canción es la ostia, muy adecuada para ese final. EXTRAORDINARIO. Gracias por subirla.

  • After your main man went in to space,Yuri Gagarin took off in a Mig fighter jet and never returned back to Russia. That is a fact.

  • Thanks for the history lesson

  • absolute rubbish. he crashed and died in a mig fighter jet on a routine training flight in russia.

  • What beauty. I saw clouds and their light shadows on the distant dear earth.... The water looked like darkish, slightly gleaming spots.... When I watched the horizon, I saw the abrupt, contrasting transition from the earth's light-colored surface to the absolutely black sky. I enjoyed the rich color spectrum of the earth. It is surrounded by a light blue aureole that gradually darkens, becoming turquiose, dark blue, violet, and finally coal black.

    - Yuri Gagarin

  • thank you for this video & quote

  • i kind of agree with eyemoeba on the basis that its not the full version, but i still really like this vid. v. good

  • eye likes. it's not a criticism, just seems a shame not to use the whole piece, as it's SUCH a tune. eyem no film maker, but you could just slow the whole lot down so as to use more of the track. eye always imagined huge waves crashing (almost tidal wave size) over the ending where the cymbal crashes come in.

  • is this really all there is to this? no full version?

  • I did it very quickly, I couldn't think of anything more to add.

  • There is actually a 10 min. version of it that I have on CD. This is the ending song from the movie HEAT, w/Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino. Search for this version. it is WORTH IT!!!
