My long time friend McCoy Tyner has been inspiring so many musicians and listeners for so long and I'm just blown away to see the multidimensional Esperanza Spalding on bass admirably "holding it down" as Ravi blazes his own spirited musical path. Very nice and thanks so much for this post.

Ravi Coltrane, of course, is John Coltrane's son and seeing them playing together like this somehow touches my heart.

I love the original 1976 Fly With the Wind, as well.

It was a bright, sunny, hot day in NY. I was there.
