I got this and the desert add-on, and I must say, it is one of the BIGGEST, and coolest maps ever! It's huge! The time taken to make it would be ages, thanks for this awesome map, Liberty City is now around double the size!

@freebird4481 It's quite easy, first off, the 6 RAR files contain all the maps, open each one and copy all folders there to your GTA IV Map folder, which is in (C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\data\maps) by default. there are around 37 map folders, make sure in the 'Bonus Drift Map' you open the folder and copy roller_iv. Once finished with that, open the GTA.dat folder in the first RAR archive. The open your GTA.dat (Make sure to back up). continues next comment>>>

I have tried following your directions but they aren't detailed enough and seem to be missing steps :( I am about to just give up and accept I will never be able to have this. @freebird4481 The GTA.dat file is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\common\data by default. Open it, then scroll down until you see the line that read # map files

Copy the line starting from the IDE platform (ignore the part with the 'load IDE's first, etc... As well as the # tags). Copy that until the last IDE where the # tag ends (don't copy the # tag). For the IPL's, do the same and copy all the text except the # tag, scroll down more. Continues next comment

@freebird4481 The with the IPL text copied, scroll down more on your GTA.dat until you get to # map files that end with .ipl and copy those to there. Make sure when doing both, that you copy them and paste them beneath the already-existing lines, not copy over them. After doing both, your GTA.dat file is done and should be a whole lot longer. For the Images.txt file, copy the text starting from 'platforming' to your images.txt file (located at the same place as GTA,dat), Continues next comment>>

@freebird4481 Make sure to backup your images.txt as well, then open it and paste it beneath the already-existing lines. After doing all this, save it as well. Then try the map out. Make sure your PC can handle it, as GTA is picky with Video Memory. If it doesn't work, you might have done something wrong with the lines of code. If it gets too difficult I can send you the GTA.dat and Images.txt file. Hopefully you understood it all, it's a great mod!

@smashthings1 I have tried these steps now about 4 times and no luck. Please if there is a way you could send me everything complete and done so I can just copy and paste them into my directory then play it I would owe you BIGTIME! I did successfully install Red Dead Island but did with simple and easy .exe installer program. It came with a mod called "Ultimate Vehicle Pack v8." It was easy hasstle free installer which included red dead island.

imo, i think some obstacles like logs or water traps on some of the moutain roads would be great. So its actuall a challenging trip to get to the top. Make people utilize the vehicle you included in your last pack :)
