wow where do you come from? how does your mind get around so many notes on so many fretboards in so many directions? your music is incredible thank you
you have a beautiful variant of the simple chapman stick having added the bass extra six string. your composition has a lovely celtic flair, you perform beautifully, making it appear so simple, which it isn't. Bravo for your skill and practice, and competence. Namaste
you are very talented, i love the different videos that shows all you musician's skills. I wish i could put my hands on a chapman stick (hard to find here with out big $) thx for sharing! Aldo-stm
Gorgeous playing! It would be great as a movie soundtrack. It's somewhat reminiscent of those harp guitars where the low strings serve a droning purpose. Keep up the great work!!!
You know it is normal to play some harmonics as ornamentation, but i'm using as a harmony ... That's why is so important for mé to chose suitable guitar for that! It seems crazy, but tell mé!
Gawd you are amazing.. I hope you are making lots of money doing thisss. this is beautiful music .. was that the same theme in there for the cat? Wow could i hire you to follow me around like a minstrel wherever i go?
it is really nice but i dont like the way you customized your sticks into that guitar frame, and play them at the same time, i guess its just to show of, but you dont really need it, sweet piece, thankyou.
@sprugian I just never get people who cast themselves as a purest over a plank of wood with strings and magnets bolted to it. Same thing with "vintage" electric guitars, such as teles. As soon as Leo bolted a neck onto a body, all "vintage" aspects went out the window. Electric instruments are, by their very nature, experimental. (I should know . . . I build them.)
To that, I say hats off to your experimentation and virtuosity.
I was just coming to youtube during the whole Andy Mckee blow up...I love his music...but I can't believe I didn't find this stuff before now. Please keep us informed as to a CD release date. This is truly some of the coolest guitar playing I've ever seen, keep it up man.
Magnificent! That is exactly the kind of music the chapman stick is made for! Great way to use two instruments, your composition is beautiful. What´s the tuning on the silent guitar?
Hey man, everything you do is fantastic! I was just wondering, do you write all of this? You are truly an inspiration for me to start with this kind of guitar. If I'm experienced with electric and acoustic regular guitar, would this be hard to pick up?
P.S., This is my fav. hairstyle in all of your vids
Yeah dude, this is really cool. This is very inspiring for the kind of stuff I would like to try in the future mixing an NS stick and my seven string Schecter.
JAN! You are the most profound player I have seen! I would love to get you and Rob Martino together and a few others together in California, USA for a jam. What you guys are showing the world is some wonderful stuff!! Still waiting for you to put out an album.
