  • ***** Super job keep money out of politics *****

  • Seriously people, no more bullshit.

We need a new French Revolution!

    Someone bring in the guillotines!

  • Very inspiring clip. This country is going to shit and fast. I remember a time when you could say you were proud to be an American without being a redneck.

  • The only solution is a revolution.

  • hold on jokers against all that

  • your more worried about the song lol wake up! get the fkucin message

  • REBEL!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why put a soundtrack from a British horror movie as the track for a thing about America?

  • @colabcalub By your logic, you should stop speaking my native language.

  • @colabcalub because it's a great sound track for a climax of fucking problems..who gives a shit which people standing on a specific area of dirt under their feet came up with it?

  • @colabcalub

about America? Hahahaha small minded fool.

  • @mecher3k Question mark?

  • Anyone know the name of the background instrumental?

  • @dhollick604

In a Heartbeat - John Murphy

  • This song ain't meant for damn hippies. It's meant for the zombie apocalypse. Stupid ass protests. lol

  • @WafflezDay uh.. hippies? wrong century bro. they're fighting to be free of government control. politicians are careerists in it for the money not the duty.

  • Save the world from the nazis? How many of you know how many Russians died during WW2 or from the consequences of it?

  • In a House, in a Heartbeat, It's meant for 28 days later! Not you god damn hippie protesters!!!!

  • In a House, in a Heartbeat!!!

  • It appears as if this world is burnin. Sell your car and by a horse for travelin. Get far away from the insanity within this. The metropolitian streets you will never miss. Soon a world full of starvation appears that should be your real fear. Not ows' world fame, when it soon could be the great mother earth herself that you must tame.

Act locally, not globally. It IS truely the only way to change the world.

  • I love how the speach starting at 2:08 was lifted from the Chicago tax day tea party.

  • @INFMAR1 Yes, it's great that both extremes of the political spectrum realize that corporate and monied interests are screwing them both.

  • I love this video with Godspeed in the background, quite powerfully edited! I saw this video several times on an Occupy channel and FINALLY tracked it down so I can feed links out to everyone.

  • I am just a hard working American Citizen, born and raised in American. I lost my job in 2008 due to "outsourcing" because "the risk we are taking is worth the money we are making" Big corporate America in my small home town. Now, I work in the industry again, after nearly 3 years. Its different now. The banks control all we do. I see it, I am in contact with their"servicing agents" Millions of homes outsosurced to India, while the banks continue to make a forturne off our future.

  • Reaganomics/Voodoo economics has succeeded. The 1% own us; control us; and dictate what they want us to hear with the top 400 pocketing one million dollars a DAY and sucking in all resources for their own selfish benefits. They also have the Congress and the entire police force in their pockets. God help us!

  • Great video, it's not just about Wall Street, we should occupy Brussels, Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, europe....Financial markets and multinationals are telling the government what to do and they dont listen to the people anymore...This is NOT democracy!! Occupy the world and change the system!!

  • It's all out in the open now.

It's not just the USA. It's worldwide!

  • This is great!

  • ... and thisglobal situation will go on until people cease to vote and therefor support the system that bleeds them white, by allowing the same vampires to carry on their business... Don't vote, choose life...

  • @cbasallie Don't let humanity off the hook. No one forced them to take the money that was thrown at them. GREED & CORRUPTION

  • i always have a rule for the White House and uh, Clarence can probably vouch for this for decades. ''Dont comment on the Federal Reserve.''

    - Robert Gibbs. press secretary for the White House

Get it? DON'T talk about the FEDERAL RESERVE.

This is NOT about Walmart, Union bosses or cops.

This is about the FEDERAL RESERVE, FIAT MONEY AND FRACTIONAL LENDING PRACTICES

  • @cbasallie ... and a lot of other, related things. I get it. But concentrating on "the Fed" alone would be the real pseudo movement. One reason I personally am taking part in this movement is that nobody can tell me what it is and isn't about. I have to work that out for myself, then plug in my abilities accordingly. And to me that makes it a truly democratic and empowering movement. As for you, you SHOULD maybe be writing articles about this stuff (just a SUGGESTION ;O) ). Love & Solidarity.

  • @lestertrad ...part 1.... Good point. I agree that it is very encouraging when the public becomes more engaged in the political process. For too many decades now, Americans have mindlessly pulled a lever in voting booths and believed that this single act made us ''part of the system''. Not so. We need to really talk about issues and understand the many different problems with our nation.

My point however, is about a real Psuedo-movement ....cont.....

  • @cbasallie part 2.. I really do know for certain that the MEDIA is attempting to create a PSUEDO-MOVEMENT. If Americans stay focused on fellow Americans then the conversation will NOT be about bankers and politicians. Divide and Conquer is a strategy used by all PROPAGANDA machines throughout history.

MEDIA really and truly has HIRED RAPPERS AND ACTORS and sent them into the crowds in an attempt to re-direct the public's attention onto other members of the public.

    Beware of this deception.

  • ==============PROPAGANDA ALERT========================

A PSUEDO MOVEMENT is being created which is meant to OVERSHADOW the real movement.

This is about the FEDERAL RESERVE, FRACTIONAL LENDING AND FIAT MONEY.

It is NOT about Walmart, cops or Union bosses.

  • Your video makes a valid point, that the "democracy" (an ambiguous term) has been ultimately, literally ultimately, corrupted. Historically, many of the large majority who opposed the colonies' being taken over by those who sat in the Houses of Burgesses and slaver general George Washington knew that ancient democracy was rule of a privileged, slave-owning class, the "demos". Their modern counterparts funded Hitler to save burgess rule in Europe. Their Constitution was never meant for the 99%.

  • Welcome to the 2012 Tragedy/Catastrophy illuminated by the illuminati and 'our' pawns. Share and thumbs up if you are on the good side, fighting, for the good fight. CHEERS!!!

  • @2012goingNutz This is not about you or me it's about all of humanity. If these souless illuninati/bilderberg groups get there way the whole world will be in poverty, homeless, hungry, beaten, imprisoned, murdered all in the name of democracy, and justice for all. Using terrorist as there new reason put foward to justify there injustice!

  • Saved the world from the Nazi's???/ American didn't join the war till Dec 8, 1941 the war started in 1939

  • @basmondo1 I was also thinking that... and everytime I hear "if it wasn't for the US you English would be speaking german...,."

Didn't English decend from West Germanic ? *Googles history, nods* .... So both nations kind of technically do anyhow ... as if it mattered. :)

and I'm pretty sure if any one nation deserves praise for bravery in WW2 it would be Russia, our noble allies.

  • great video

  • Love this video. Very powerful...thanks for posting it!

  • ANARCHY!! ANARCHY!!

  • Brothers and Sisters, this is the time to band together and end this system of financial oppression.

  • @NINBNIN The people of the tea party are wrong because they think that the government is taking their liberty away. They don't understand that without a protective government (and the taxes that come with it) they would probably still advice pregnant women to smoke cigarettes (to take just a 'fun' example). This video here is just saying the same. Vampires.. lies.. taking our money.. same target, same argumentation. Stupid. Myths, Fear and immature ideas.

  • cycles of death and destruction will continue. We cannot solve problems with the same thinking that created them. We're still stuck somewhere between feudalism and imperialism, with a whole lot of dark age mentality thrown in. But it's shinier and vague and clever, we maintain our own cages and feel pride in dwelling there. Because we are taught that way. Just as we are taught ignorance, so too can we be taught enlightenment. It's behavior, it's environmental.

  • @LevNougol Yeah sure. This is vague and sounds great. It's as abstract as it can be. Vive la revolution of the teenagers. There's a need for action, as you said. But what you say is soft words. Organization of a society require more than basic philosophical concepts.

  • @MrLisodeic *sigh* Because your solution is to do what? Keep patchworking a system that has failed since the dawn of man? I'm agreeing with you and I'm still wrong and vague and abstract? Or are you simply unable to rise above your comfort zone and get your head around such "hazy" concepts and "philosophies" such as the scientific FACT that we are ALL screwed and we either change or we die?

  • @NINBNIN Yes. And what are they trying to do to achieve that? GET RID OF THE GOVERNMENT. Same target as this VID! Fear, myths.. same methods.

  • @NINBNIN 'There is no democracy' for a start. There is one, it's un-perfect and we need to make it work better, for all classes. The idea that corporation have TOTAL control is wrong. People vote and elect the congress and the president. If people vote for idiots that's another problem. There is a democracy. Have you ever been in a country where there is no democracy? It does NOT feel the same. Go check it out for yourself.

  • @MrLisodeic Here’s a fact. 94% of the time the candidate who raises the most money wins. That’s not a democracy, that's an auction.

  • @VeriDoctores That's just says that campaigning is a matter of big money and that's wrong, as you say. But it doesn't bring down the whole idea of democracy down. Democracy is about alternance of politic powers, about freedom of expression, and elected officials. Democracy gives you the possibility of bringing your ideas to the debat. Go check it out in Saoudi arabia, China, North Korea or Iran. I agree this system is being hijacked by corporation interest, but this video sends the wrong message

  • @MrLisodeic I'm a human being and my life has value,... what's wrong with that message? why are you expressing straw man fallacies? no one is arguing that anyone should "bring down the whole idea of democracy". No one is saying, "lets go live in North Korea". How did you get that message from this video?,... I am glad that you agree that our system is being hijacked by corporations. Once we stop the hijacking, we will have our Democracy/Republic back. Let's unite, and find what we agree on.

  • @VeriDoctores nothing wrong with 'I'm a human being and my life has value'. This video only play with fear, just as the extreme right does it. It is the same rhetoric as the tea party's. Gov take your money, is corrupted, take your freedom etc. That's the wrong fight. We need to be heard by and change the government, but we need it!

Social policies, higher taxes on the rich and more regulation in banking. That's what we fight for. Not a bunch of populist conspiracy slogans over cool music.

  • @VeriDoctores What i wanted to say before was: If you really think the US isn't a democracy, go check it out in a country where it really does not exist. Where this discussion, your posts and writing against authority IS punishable. It does not feel the same. And don't get mad if the police arrest a few people here and there, some people here and there throw rocks at them too. It is not about extreme. The fight will be won if we stay rational, focus and aware. Not if we sound like fox news.

  • @MrLisodeic Which country is that? North Korea? This argument is looking thinner and thinner... we have a much more sophisticated level of totalitarian control than any other nation/empire in history...we have more people in prison than in any other time in history...and this is reaching a boiling point...a little investigation will tell us our government is getting ready for that moment...the PatriotAct...Homeland Security...our militarized police force...you are kidding yourself...

  • @vizjion3 I'm not saying it's fine (read the thread bellow) but only that this vid use the same tactic as right wing activism: it melts everything into fear. I doesn't bring any constructive thoughts. It just plays around like a bad fox news clip would on other topics. OWS will fail if people don't start focusing on some objective soo and deliver a clear message. And not just a message of fear and hate. Constructive ideas. The problem is complex, it needs argumentation. Proposals. Actions. IDEAS

  • @vizjion3 And no, I don't believe we are in a totalitarian regime at all. I think this country is a democracy and that's how we'll get it out of its bad trajectory: through democratic action. Finding the right representative to implement the right ideas and prevent powerful corporations to mistreat the very workers that made them. Regulate banking, political funding and get the higher incomes to pay more taxes. Not claim that they are vampires with cheesy music and emotional rhetoric.

  • Comment removed

  • what song is that?

  • all true

  • this is about the future of our kids

  • this sounds like tea party crap. It's immature. Full of myths and completely emotional. What we need is raising the taxes on wealthier, pass laws that get the banks more accountable. Take action that is reachable! Even calling it the 99% is a mistake. I don't want to belong into anything that is 99%. I don't want menace, I want action. Social action, politique action. We don't need to bring the system down, we need to make it better and working for all class of society

  • @MrLisodeic If that's your solution, you don't understand the problem. Patchworking an inherently corrupt system doesn't fix the system. Dropping smaller bombs doesn't mean less war. The whole damn thing is designed to be the monstrosity that you're trying to 'treat' instead of solve. We have a problem, we need to fix it. Your way does not and has never worked. No more excuses. We represent YOU as well. I hope you'll stop hiding from the reality, as uncomfortable as it may be.

  • @LevNougol tell me what system you want to replace this one first. I don't like many politicians. I fear big corporate interest that neglect the same workers they build their empire on. I want to change all that. But throwing hollywood scary vid-like is as dumb as the tactics from the right. Actually, all this "FEAR OF THE GOVERNMENT' does fit the tea party quite well. Good job.

  • @MrLisodeic I don't like many politicians either. And even if we find an honest, well-meaning politician, they cannot solve our problems. They don't understand the source of the problems and thus are are not able to solve them. Why? Because they are politicians, and our problems are not political. Our problems are technical. Our problems are not that of a nation or its government. Our problems are global, and they are the problems of the people, every person and every ecosystem.

  • @LevNougol This is vague enough to feed any point my friend. But you don't think you need leaders? Do you believe the people can take all decisions directly? And do you think that the 'others' do no represent the people too, even when they're wrong (and I believe they are!)? Revolution is often followed by bloodbath, counter revolution, extremism, hight death toll.. until.. they elect people to represent themselves. I think education is a key. I think they wealthy of this country must contribute

  • @MrLisodeic I absolutely agree; Education, not indoctrination, is key. Every single person can be educated to be polymaths. Masters of all fields necessary to maintain the wellbeing of themselves and of the world. What we have now is a terrible excuse for education. Our schools are drone factories, making cogs to put in the machine of consumption, waste and perpetuation of needless agony and atrocity on scales great and small. We need to learn how to lead ourselves. Otherwise, yes, the old

  • @MrLisodeic In other words, as with the phrase garbage in, garbage out...if we want to change the result, we have to change the program from the ground up.

  • @LevNougol change the program, change the political landscape to defend the interest of the 99%. Yeah. That seems the way to go. If you think 'they're all the same' well don't worry they think we're all the same too.

  • @MrLisodeic Change the political landscape? Politics, in and of itself, IS a problem. The monetary in and of itself, IS a problem. And they are co-dependent upon one another. And I was actually using the Chicken Little 'sky is falling' reference.

  • @LevNougol Compromise is never easy, and complexe systems aren't resolve with easy solutions. Revolutions with no goal are pointless. They're just chit-chat. Let's change the world before checking our email, burning some oil and paying some taxes. That's what you're going to do this month, next month. We need leaders, concrete action points, and representation in the Congress to implement them and fight back on the corporations. Higher taxe on the wealthier, accountability of banks.

  • @MrLisodeic Great. So keep doing what we've been doing and expect a different outcome. You're absolutely right. Because it's so complex we couldn't possibly see the root of the problem. Or, at least, you can't. But that's reasonable, right? *shakes head* Alright, keep your mind closed to new information. But I will say this once more...there is NO COMPROMISE for human rights. So, sorry, but your information is wrong.

  • @LevNougol you don't get it. The problem with being extreme and this type of video is that it makes people stupid and keep them out of any constructive discussion. It's about hate and fear, not change. People like fear. On the LEFT, on the RIGHT. Go check out a video from the tea part, and pay more attention to how similar both are.

  • @MrLisodeic The vid is passionate, I get that. And I see the similarities in the school of thought. I do. OWS does not see how all the pieces fit. Neither do the teabaggers. Neither do a vast majority of the public. But they suffer all the same. I support OWS, but from TZM perspective. Which means I support all of humanity and am geared toward curing, not treating, the disease that's killing us all.

  • @MrLisodeic I saw this vid as more of an inspiration of courage in the face of overwhelming circumstances, honestly.

  • @LevNougol may be it just is, but as everyone is waiting for OWS to express tangible ideas, this video does not help. It just feels like another 'conspiracy' video. Sends the wrong message, send the wrong ideas. That's how I started. It is much harder to pull a constructive argument than explosion, cops, smoke, voice over of films and news (which sounds like FOX news) and making it work with some nice Hollywood music. But yeah, it's easier to have people to agree with it.

  • @MrLisodeic And what? No goal? The goal is sustainability. That's rather direct, not vague, not wrapped up in political jargon and apologetics, lobbying and greed, servitude and suffering. We are the leaders. And the action points are already in place. and congress is BOUGHT, because MONEY = POLITICS. And...I'm frustrated at this point, so I'll respectfully bow out and maybe come back later.

  • @MrLisodeic Sounds like you have some sort of fear of the tea party when you should be seeking common ground and better understanding. We are all being oppressed by the current system from left to right. Playing into the partisan left/right mindset just perpetuates the problem...

  • @MrLisodeic This isn't about menace, this IS action. This is a movement from a position of strength, no longer from your position of fear.

  • @LevNougol I like the movement, I've been out there in oakland since the beginning. But the tone of this video is just wrong i think. Making people to FEAR the government is a bad idea. In many case, the government IS protecting people against private corporation. If does not, and that's what people feel now, we need to change them and elect leaders that will represent us. That's democracy.

  • @MrLisodeic You want a viable solution? Resource-Based Economy. Or as I like to call it, an actual economy. Where the world's resources are considered the common heritage of every person. Where the actual carrying capacity of the world is considered. Where the actual state of resources are known and applied appropriately, elevating the quality of life, ALL life, to a standard much higher than what we used to know as the middle class. And if you think this is far-fetched,

  • @MrLisodeic consider this: we've had the technological capability to do this since the post-modern era. But we were lead in the opposite direction, because we're stuck in a system that perpetuates itself in an agenda of consumption and waste. This isn't just a problem with politics. It's a problem with values. We do not recognize the other inherent quality of life, emergence. We have been slow to take in new information and adjust accordingly, and thus have been making a bigger mess trying to

  • @MrLisodeic keep everything the way that we've been told it has to be, for FEAR that the sky will fall if we don't fill our greed and especially the greed of those that moderate from the top down. But don't get me wrong, they're just as much a slave to all of this as everyone else. In fact, moreso, because they feel pushed to create such atrocities upon us so we'll stay fearful and loyal, because they're afraid of losing what they don't realize is no longer relevant. We are the 100%. Humanity.

  • @LevNougol you sound like the old testament now man. I trust reason over emotion. History over twits. Without government this country would not exist, and you wouldn't be in front of a computer now without huge corporations like microsoft or apple. The system is as good as the people have been capable of building. But it's being corrupt and we need to react. Not panic and FEAR everything like dummies. We need to be vigilant and constructive. Lear and teach. This is video is dumb as hell.

  • @MrLisodeic Old testament? I'm talking about scientific method applied to social concern. It doesn't get more reasonable than that. Ironically, your emotional response is to react without realizing this. You're sorting through your old categorizations trying to filter new information. It doesn't work. Technology is actually constrained by a profit system that minimizes quality to maximize quantity. Consumption and waste, remember? Maybe I just got something different from this vid than you. but

  • @LevNougol the sky fall on people.. that's a biblical reference.

  • that doesn't change the reality of why things are happening. The results are because of the source of the problems. The source of the problems are rooted in old, stagnant thinking, from a time when we had to snatch up everything we could for the sake of our tribes. Before we were connected to one another, before we had the tech no provide for everyone and ourselves.

  • this actually gave me chills. fantastic

  • how much would it cost to run this as an add?

  • This is some riveting shit right here.

  • Thank you.

  • The only reason this has "Occupy Wall Street" as the title and not "Tea Party Express" is becuase OWS has more young computer nerds than the Tea Party.

  • @earthpigg no, it's because the occupy protests are about solidarity with your fellow citizen, a sense that i will fight for you and you will fight for me because this system does not work for either of us. the tea party, on the other hand, is so fueled by entitlement and bigotry and a privileged sense of "give me more and screw everyone else" that it fails to attract the creative computer nerd-types that the occupy protests reach.

  • Great Video that says it all, yet the news media says the Occupyy Wall Street protesters have no message. what a joke. The other issue also is that we have a bought and paid for news media who has covered up the Naked Short Selling that has taken place on Wall Street. Yes, they sold FAKE stocks.

watch Wall Street Conspiracy Nov 2011 & Wall Street Fails To Deliver Aug 2011 to understand it all

  • how come I can't share it on FB???

  • great editing.

  • Nice edit

  • Epic!
