I thought the same thing initially, but the statue cries sometimes in the early morning (5:00) and some times at night (11:00) and it is not dependent on temperature or humidity changes. I don't think it is condensation.

@RavenAudron100 No, not a weird church from a catholic perspective. This was an authentic rcc. One of the biggest archdiocese in the country actually, in California. The only "reminder" to pray is my "christian" faith and not any statues!!!!

@Katy7321 LOL, that is so true. I used to be catholic as well and I laugh when they tell me they don't worship mary. I'm Latino and I know for a fact they do cause I used to be one. I used to see them when they would crawl on their knees and pray to her statue and touch her and do the sign of the cross while crying. It's sad how satanic a deception this is!!!!!!

@geedup415 never once is the "doctrine of the trinity" found in Scripture. It is implied, but never actually said. Just like our interpritations of Mary. If you want to understand where Im coming from, the book "Hail, Holy Queen" by Scott Hahn is really good! Even if you dont believe in the power of Mary, it shows how the Old and New Testimant refer to each other and repeat themselves. its really cool, if you wanna check it out.

the eyes are made of a material that condenses water when it is warm out, (Daytime) and retains and absorbs water at night when cool...good way to trick teh gullible

I thought the same thing initially, but the statue cries sometimes in the early morning (5:00) and some times at night (11:00) and it is not dependent on temperature or humidity changes. I don't think it is condensation.
