  • That is so cute!!! "We start over heeerrrreeee! And then we go roooooound! And then we go back her again!" I love Robert! And Jimmy is damn adorable! xD

  • 2:38 - Jimmy is blatantly on it LOL

  • ha ha ha Jimmy drinks water

  • i watched them enter the room about 5 times and thought these guys are real rock stars

  • the best part is when they enter the room. two GODS

  • Jimmy, actually explains the reason why JPJ wasn't there in this and it makes sense. They were already working with a rhythm section and they had a momentum almost from the start.....then Robert cuts him off and says something nonsensical.

  • Id do anything to be in their presence.

  • I don't know if they were simply in a raunchy mood or if they give the British press a difficult time because after Zepp released their first album, America immediately recognized that they were something special but the British press was quite critical & Zepp said; "screw this, lets go back & tour some more in America where they love us"

Perhaps, they enjoy returning the favor to the British press? They certainly tell them to shut up often enough

  • @Chuichupachichi this press conference was in Australia not uk.so your sad attempt at trying to claim zep as yours didnt work.

  • @sonnyreddevil69

I was not attempting to claim Zepp as ours. That which occurred is simply a historical fact. America first recognized their musical greatness & when the British press was critical & unappreciative, Zepp came back to America & essentially continued coming back on a regular basis. America is where the legend of Zepp was born & perpetuated

  • @sonnyreddevil69

From where is the concert footage within "The Song Remains The Same"?

That documented footage was recorded at the zenith of their career. Albeit, a zenith that started early & went long. ha ha, darn near from beginning to end. Dammit... lets simply say that the sun remained at high noon all day long

  • @Chuichupachichi wrong ! that was recorded in 73/ was way earlier= they were only at the houses of the holy album / barely

their zenith wasnt even close yet !

  • @z1inspector

Better check that sundial again. In fact, throw a couple of eggs & some bacon on it, then listen to them sizzle

But no sense in looking for the shadow

  • @Chuichupachichi o2 mate o2

  • I love Robert Plant, but what a ego. I like what Jimmy Page said about being on the toilet reffering to bad material.lol I'm surprised you noticed Robert.lol

  • so great !! forever

  • Pair of funny fucking legends.

  • Awesome!

  • Sweet fuck, thank god Axl has gone to shit! can you imagine a new Guns N Roses soiree? Rock and roll is dead.

  • Actually to skin a rabbit you make a small inscecion under its legs and pull the ears upward. they had it on man vs. nature

  • argh shut up lol dont you two ever break out of character again. your jimmy page and robert plant of led zeppelin stop taking the piss out of john paul jones you know if john bonham saw this he would turn over in his grave robert should be especially ashamed of himself lost respect for him watching this.

  • ha ha ha jimmy drinks water

  • "Your coreography's insulting." X___________D

  • dang I quit smoking but after seeing them smoke I had to smoke a cigarette

  • They're still beautiful men. I donn't care what anyone else says!

  • 4:59 -- can someone confirm that he looks the reporter in the eye and tells him that his "choriography is insulting"? -- that's balls

  • gosh, all of Zeppelin are such characters with personality

    love it

  • When Robert recorded his first solo album, he called JPJ and asked him what he thought of it. JPJ responded with what Robert interpreted as an insult, so I'm assuming that Robert carried that perceived insult for a while.

  • HAHAHA Jones with his fucking onions and wig on song remains the same What the hell was that.

  • Hahaha this is great! love it

  • Page looks annoyed at Robert at 5:14 lol

  • I love to hear Plant bash Jones. What a wanker, what would zeppelin have been without John Paul Jones? Without his Melotron on the rain song? Without his parts on Stairway?

  • @splatterduke. Wtf dude. Just cuz im younger than you doesnt mean i like the actual music any less then you. Fuck off man. Just cuz i wear there shirt dusnt mean i dont know that theyr the greatest rock band in history. You dont kno shit if you jus think cuz im wearin the shirt it meens i dont kno who they r.

  • im not dis respecting guys but is robert plant

  • God i love Jimmy Page!....Best guitarist ever!

  • at 4:20 plant fucking rips one! i laughed my ass off.

  • @mushroomleg lmao, i don't think that anyone actually farted, but it sure as hell sounds like it

  • Someone's been sniffin' that stuff a little too much, ahem, Robert xD

  • its pretty funny how you give a shit about the age of a new generation of led zeppelin fans, instead of just being stoked that, once again, Led Zeppelin has defined rock and roll for yet ANOTHER generation. FUCK. YOU. Just listen to their stuff, enjoy it, and stop being such a bitter prick. That band is eternally relevant to all ages and to every new generation. This 15 year old is over the fucking moon about that fact.

  • Exactly... When I was 18 in 1984, we had NO visual of Led Zeppelin, only photographs in Music magazines. Those who were older was highly appreciative of us teens who was finding our ways thru the Zeppelin Catalog

  • @ZoSoRecords

I myself am not from Zepp's "baby boomer" generation, but rather, X. However, it is quite amazing how many times I've witnessed the proceeding generation's 18 year olds wearing Zepp T-Shirts

Of course, I was first hooked at age 9

  • @splatterduke i get made fun of for wearing zep shirts, and i still wear them, FUCK YOU

anyway you should be saying how lucky you are to be alive when they were still touring, not dising kids like me because i love there music

  • wow, bitter old person. Ever thought that many young people (like myself) genuinely enjoy and love the music? how can you not love the music? It's not like there's anything half decent on the radio these days, and even the more obscure stuff doesn't compare. I guess you're just jealous of youth, which is sad.

  • Ive been a Zeppelin fan since I was 13. It was cool to be into classic rock back then. Then it sort of got old, but my love for their music never diminished. I am 21 now, and I still think they never wrote a bad song.

  • @splatterduke wow dude. your just fucking gay. Sure, you can come here and talk shit to some little kids. Your probably a fatass 40 year old pedophile still living in your mothers basement. Im 18, and ive loved zeppelin since the first note i heard from them. You being a bitter prick is NOT going to change that. So why dont you just fuck off?

  • @splatterduke So it wasn't "cool" to like Led Zep in the 70s? People never used to tell their friends that they liked Led Zeppelin to gain respect for their taste in music? Or wear Led Zep t-shirts/badges to show off that they're fans? Or put on a Led Zep record on when a date comes round because the band was cooler than, say, Boney M - even if they liked them both equally? Whatever. Being a fan of a band has always been about the image that comes with it as well as liking the music.

  • No quarter (the umplugged) album has only Robert and Jimmy playing on it. This is why John Paul is not with them

  • wheres John Paul robert?

  • you mean john paul jones aka jpj

  • forgot the comma, never was good at grammer.

  • its ok atleast u know now lol

  • i think he is asking Plant where John Paul is?

  • i think plants high

  • They are so funny AND talented!!!

  • What are they going to do ... tell JP he can't smoke in there? LOL!

  • Lol true

  • I love Robert Plant and Jimmy Page so much; they're so amazing. 'No Quarter' is very impressive and Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest rock 'n roll bands ever!

  • page has no time for bullshit.jones co wrote alot of the stuff. plant should remember that

  • There were even a comple of songs were all four contributed.

  • They're so funny! I've watched other interviews where Plant has mentioned the Elvis one,

"Man, that was cool." LOL ;D

  • So this is an old interview, but now the word goes that Chris Cornell might sing on upcoming tour...

  • They are like an old married couple, who still love each other dearly but are going through rough times. I hope they can work things out soon. Eff the tour, I just want to see them happy again!

  • Page looks bored stiff...

  • at least they kept their sense of humour !!!

    funny interview !!!

  • Notice the part where Plant says, "I'd like to do duets." Well, that idea came to pass, didn't it? ;)

  • Unfortunetly yes.

  • Well, I like the work he did with Krauss, which went Platinum, but it stood in the way of a full fledged Zeppelin reunion tour and that sucks ass big time. I have my doubts as to whether Plant would have wanted to do that reunion tour anyway...he's never expressed any interest in it all these years.

  • Well, to me he's a walking contradiction. I can understand him not wanting to retread the past and trying to relive "the good old days" BUT, if this is true, then why on earth is he singing Zep songs with Krauss on the tour? That just seems so strange. If he wants to truly move on, then you would think that he would prefer to only do his post-Zep work.

  • Yeah i noticed the remarks by Robert aswell but still cool interview (well part one anyway :)).

  • I couldn't help but notice the slide remarks Robert made about John Paul Jones. I could understand why he felt annoyed by these two slighting him during this tour- Jim made it seem as if it would be a Led Zepp reunion and they would play old songs together, but he never called back. It's so nerve wracking watching Plant add more salt into the already sore wounds, and Jim nervously play with his watch.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • I know.. this was like 45 mins long, so i had to edit it down, but he stated something regaurding JPJs and transvestites?? WTF??

  • I'm thinking he meant the content regarding the song "Royal New Orleans" where JPJ accidently took a transvestite up to his hotel room mistaking the person for a girl. But, JPJ denies this. He says that Richard Cole made the episode up for 'Hammer of the Gods' and it was a half truth. The transvesite was a friend of Cole's and he, I assume, drank with him. The other incident with the room almost burning down took place with a groupie, according to JPJ.

  • Thanks for the insight on that... that makes alot of sense now.. I have the book.. some what a good book, but not too sure how honest it was? thanks again!

  • @ZoSoRecords Please tell me where i could buy these interviews in full.

  • @humanzeez4realz I got 3 of them from netflix a couple years ago, but i think it was a dvd called.. "Way down Inside"

  • @hazel10987 I heard a one of the reasons why Page & Plant didn't ask John Paul Jones to join them for the No Quarter tour was of Plant's annoyance at John Paul Jones not knowing/forgetting the song titles of most Led Zep songs. Plant felt Jones didn't take his songwriting credits with respect like he did for Page. Jones would always ask Jimmy what song their doing. Jimmy would play the riff or mention the riff in E. I only heard it from others. I personally think it is BS.
