  • this isnt an exercise it shows nothing nice bullshit title to trick people into clicking so you get a view count if your going to lie in the title why dont you just title it hot nude babe sucks dick that would probably work better

  • I saw this and was like,"omg its a Pokemon battle between baked beans and a cup!"

  • Nice render indeed. But if I may give you a littl esuggestion. In order to do photorealism on a higher level, you should use unbiased MLT renderers. But not Maxwell because it uses alot of tricks and starts to be more and more unrealistic with each new release. This is because they sacrifice the quality for speed. I would suggest you to try out Indigo Renderer. I tested it a lot and i can assure you that it is the closest renderer to photorelism.

  • @Serb1anArchangel

the problem here isn't the renderer so much, more the texturing, lighting, etc.

Indigo Renderer is good, though personally I prefer Mental Ray

  • @mnilandcom I see nothing wrong with texturing here. These are mostly simple matterials. The biased rendering is the main problem here. Mental Ray is also biased. With biased renderers you will not get even close to the photorealism of unbiased ones.

  • @Serb1anArchangel

mental ray can do allot more photo-realism, it's just hard to find some good examples

  • @Serb1anArchangel Yes it can do with many, many hours of lighting settings. But even then it will not be as good as an unbiased renderer simply because of the biased GI. In 1/10th time you can reach more photorealistic render with an unbiased renderer. I work in archviz for 15 years now and i know what I'm talking about. I used vray, lightwave renderer, mray and many more through years. But for photorealism unbiased algorithms like MLT, BDMLT, BDPT. You can not do this with biased GI.

  • this looks really good but can you make this look real in a movie or something like they did in transformers and other movies

  • Ah, yes. I see what you mean. I used an HDRI for lighting, so I'd probably need to tweak a few settings there to adjust that intensity. That, or the glass material itself. Thanks for pointing that out, though. I'm always grateful for any personal input. :)

  • nice, but just a opinion, but the specular on that glass looks WAYYY too intense know wut i mean?

  • That was entrancing. :O

Looking forward to more of your projects. :D

  • Thank you very much for your kind words! Honestly though, I'm still very new to the field of 3D myself and I'm always learning new things. Believe me, I'm anything but pro. Haha.

  • wow man :) NICEeeeeeeeeeee,,, what would u suggest some novice user like me.. max or maya?.. i know working in both.. eaven i light wave.. but i think its time to make a decision.. wich softvare should i use. i mean autodesk 3ds max 2010 has awsome granite modeling tools that are 100 times faster and better than mayas, but the other hand maya has cool cloth, muscules systems, and ppl usaly say its the best choise.. what would say pro like you , to that.?

  • Haha, Indeed. Maya is becoming much more user friendly with each generation it seems. Fantastic program. Thank you very much for the kind comment! I truly appreciate it.

  • Maya is much easier to use. It looks AWESOME!!! good job :D
