There are ways of making this type of technology fully interactive. There is a product called nuV-Host that allows motion detection, sound detection, proximity detection, wireless remote, etc. It can be done with creative development of live characters or for the most fun, a fully animated character. There is a hologram. Look closely and you will see that the film is being projected on a screen that has just the silhouette of women. This you can see well in two specific moments: 1) In the "off" the torso at 20 seconds of video. 2) When the camera focuses in profile, look who has a thick as a plank in which the projector projects the image that is on the wall at the back of the woman. I do not think a hologram. And it certainly is an interesting effect

The main tech on this isn't the projector or the glass backdrop (shaped like the babe). It's a special 3M film with "millions of microscopic glass beads focus the projected light so it exits as just one small point. The black layer then absorbs the ambient light, producing a high contrast image." Looks amazing in RL but isnt cheap, with a 60 16:9 piece costing over $500. Comparison an "ok" projector screen is about $200 and isn't nearly as sharp or viewable in daylight. very nice stuff...
