  • AMAZING!!!!

  • Can you please upload "Hopelessly devoted to you" If you have it. I want to see how she sings it, I'm auditioning for Sandy and she's such an inspiration :) x

  • @lossie101 i would if i could! since "hopelessly devoted to you" isn't in the show originally, we didn't include it in ours! the only time it's ever been in the show professionally is for the 07 revival, but was before that, so i apologize! break a leg with your audition though!

  • @Jman383 Aww, that's a shame, Kim would of sung that song beautifully! Thank you so much :) x

  • She's got a beautiful voice and she's stunning!

  • i play sandy in my skool play and im very good at it and i sound exactly like her!!!!!!!

  • i thought that the song "look at me im sandra dee" was rizzo frenchy and the other girl in pink ladies making fun of sandy but idk

  • @Rinzilla09 in the stage musical it is rizzo making fun of sandy at the park with everyone watching. this is the reprise in the stage show. like inthe movie when sandy sees them win the race and is singing this (in her head)

  • That is a sick set.

  • No offense to this girl she just seems like a patty simcox to me

    But she did great (:

  • Awesome job! I'm Rizzo in my school's play, and personally I feel you are a little better emotionally than the Sandy in my school's, about equal talent though (BOTH AWESOME BTW!)

  • cool ur good

  • hey nice job! im sandy in my school's production too :) it comes up in three weeks im really excited!!!

  • Break a leg! :)

  • thanks :)

  • break a leg! i bet it ll go great. i played sandy as well and it was amazing

  • 1:59 lost the note other then that she is really good!

  • hi! i was recently cast as rizzo in my school's production :) .

basically rizzo has just sung "there are worse things i could do" to sandy, and thats why sandy sings this song. shes all boo hoo. yeah :)

  • the goodbye to sandra dee gave me the chilllls.

  • i am sandy in my school production , i think i am a good singer, shall i put videos of me singing on youtube ?

    x

  • yes please

  • definitely! Please do!

  • Very talented. Nice! Keep it up!

  • Really awesomee set, but I didn't like this much at all.

Oh wait, video just ended. I liked the line "goodbye to Sandra Dee."

  • i am Sandy in my show to :) x

  • ...I like Rizzo's version. It just feels.....right.

  • its a reprise.

  • she shouldnt be crying, cause in the movie Sandy is happy cause she is gonna change for Danny

  • yes but this isn't the movie , it's the stage version and in this stage show this should be the most moving moment

  • in the play, she just got used by Rizzo or something (cant remember it was a while ago when i saw it) so yah she was sad

  • probably she was scared that Danny might not like her change or she doesnt know what to expect, plus Sandy is very naive so she'd cry.

  • besides take a deep breath and sigh goodbye...really dosnt make much sence does it

  • it does make sense.

take a deep breath and sigh.

    goodbye to sandra dee.

its two complete sentences, not a full run-on. :)

  • it's changed to "cry" in the musical.

  • *•.¸.(`*•.¸♥¸.•*´).¸♥.•*´♥

    ♥«´¨`•°Excellent °•´¨`»♥

    .¸.•*´♥(¸.•*´♥`*•.¸)`♥*•.¸♥

  • that was pretty good.

  • im sandy in my show now!

  • a bit pitchy in some parts but overall great performance ^^

  • I'm playing Sandy right now, and I think in this song she doesn't quite know where and who she is. She has been having troubles with Danny the entire show, and she knows she must change. The whole show Dannys trying to change for her, and now she knows its her turn. I don't know why some people think her whole "change" at the end is bad because when Danny tries to turn jock he's changing for her. Well, thats just my perspective on it so yea:)

  • i've just done this play at my school it was so good and i was sandy i loved it and im also part of a thetre production lol

  • Hey, I'm Kim Panek, the girl that played Sandy and I just wanted to share my perspective on how I perceived this song to be. Sandy loves who she is, but because she is in love, realizes she needs to change. She doesn't want to change, but sometimes we have to make sacrifices for love. She feels she can still be strong on the word "cry" but then breaks towards the end, because she realizes its going to be hard to do. Plus it's how I was directed :] thanks everyone for all your comments!!

  • I agree. You have a beautilful voice, especially on the goodbye to-oo-oo-oo sandra dee bit! Well done.

  • You're pretty cute.

  • In the movie, it seemed as if Sandy didn't like who she was and would be happier if she was a greaser.

  • tht wuz amazing!!

    i luv ur voice

    & ur so pretty! =]

  • what are you talking about she's so so soft and aweosme is for this song

  • omg I love your voice and your so prety I'm definately usin you as my role model cause I'm being sandra dee in our school play

  • ur pretty and i luv ur voice also!

    =)

    -ashley-

  • Good job!

  • She's good! This version of this is sadder then in the movie

  • kewl voice

  • great voice! you are so pretty!

  • very pretty indeed

  • well, she can sing

  • pretty good! she´s beautiful, good singer, and GREAT actress

  • beautiful voice

  • well done played role, but I agree with not belting suddenly, at least not as much. Otherwise, very good. -Long Island Young Actors Awards Judge

  • Eh, belting does not contradict Sandy's character what so ever, especially not here. True, the classic sound of Sandy is mostly associated with a mix voice, like Olivia Newton John's and even Susan Wood's in the revival, but in this scene Sandy is transforming from goodie, pure girl, to edgier, tough Sandy... that should be portrayed in the vocals, and I think it is quite well. Just my opinion.

  • actually, i agree with themask person, because the classic is so soft, and sandy is supposed to be soft and serene, and even tho its just before she turns into the bad girl, the song doesnt seem right with the belting at the end. sorry. other than that, great singing

  • i agree with jman.

  • I guess the belting thing is a matter of perception, and direction. This was actually my second time playing Sandy. The first time I played it, I didn't belt at all, and sang the high note as the softest note in the song, and the second time, I belted it, then sort of broke down.. realizing who I needed to become, someone I was not. If you think of it, Grease is a really sad message. To get someone you want you have to change all you are. That's when she realized it.

  • @Jman383 Your right :) x

  • I agree...she has a beautiful voice and was the perfect girl for this role.

  • <3 Beautiful voice, this girl is perfect.
