  • As a self-described "Sherlockian", the plot comes from pitting two very intelligent men against each other. But I agree that after awhile the action did become a bit much. The forest part would've been amazing had i not seen the same type of thing a few times before. But by the end i enjoyed the film a lot and these films are meant to breathe new life into Holmes so are meant for entertainment.

  • How do you think it compared to the first one? Better, worse, bout the same?

  • @Diethoc Worse than the first one.

  • @BlindFilmCritic I agree. Felt slower with a little less depth, so it dragged a little for me. Another great review Tommy!

  • @Diethoc Was probably just as good as the first one, most likely not as funny, and harder to get straight. But the ending was epic, the visual effects were awesome and I do hope there will be a number three.

  • Hans Zimmer's leading instrument for main Sherlock theme = Dulcimer

  • @proprodigySD Thanks.

  • I loved the first movie. Then I discovered the BBC's Sherlock. And it makes both of these look like ham-handed Michael Bay movies.

  • While the music was great, the overkill nonstop action became tiresome, overwhelming and eventually even put me to sleep. I would have loved even more character development, although this was an improvement over the first movie.

  • I loled in the first second. oh, wauw.
