  • WHY DID YOU PICK THE OTHER SHOT WHY NOT AVONEX THATS ONCE A WEEK BELIEVE IN GOD WHICH I'M SURE YOU DO. HOW ARE YOU TODAY LOVE APRIL

  • This is my first time responding to anyone who has a vlog. I have watched a lot of videos, been a member for a while, and tonight I found Vlogs from MS patients. I have had MS for right at 10 years now. Im a bit spooked at the idea of making my own Vlogs. Simply because of the studdering and repeating and such. Perhaps I lack a great deal of confidents in this matter. But I do want to say to everyone who is Vloging..I Love Watching You All, You are great, strong, Inspirational and CONFIDENT

  • She has had other issues but I never really sat down and thought about how they all might be related, but the school called my daughter recently and said she was having issues gripping her pencil and can't button her own pants when she goes to the bathroom. And finally they called last week and said she went to the nurse because her whole body hurt and she was dizzy. She had to take a rest because her legs were wobbly. That sent us to the doc. Hence the trip to the neuro.Does this sound like MS

  • Very informative! And you are funny! My 7 year old granddaughter is going to see a pediatric neurologist in 2 weeks. She has been having some troublesome issues going on and her PCP just wants to get it checked out. For at least 4 years I have had some concerns beginning when she was 3 and couldn't ride her trike. Never did ride her trike actually. She sat on it and we pushed her. She lost her grip on the monkey bars at recess and fell and broke her leg. Accidents happen, right?

  • It is sooo bizzare what you expirence with this but at the same time.. it is easy to deal with when there are others who are kind and caring like yourself that help us along the way.. Thank you soo much

  • There's this documentary called "Under my skin" It's about Lyme disease and there's a doctor who discovered that there's a connection between the Borrelia bacteria, MS, and Alzheimer's. 8 out of 10 brains who had Alzheimer's were test positive for the bacteria. I thought it was a pretty interesting.

  • thank you ... you helped me so much im so depressed but just seeing that people have been through what i have been through makes me feel a litle better but im still scared.. i wan diagnosed august 17/09

  • Before you had your eye trouble, was it always hard to focus in the morning and take a while to clear your vision?

  • Hi, this is a nice video, very honest and helpful. Drs are in the process of trying to find out what's wrong w/me. Thank you for sharing your experience...I hope you do very well on tysabri. hug! Ann

  • I have the same rocking chair. It was my great grandma's :)

  • thank you I was told that I have all they signs of ms My MRI shows that I do. Now they want me to have a spinal tap Am scared to death but listening to you quieted me down a little take care

  • The sun will still come up day after day,it is your mind choice if you will enjoy its warm amber glow or complain that it's too hot, that being said, it took me 2 1/2months canceling twice, and another Flare from the stress of the idea before I got the nerve to get my LP, and it wasn't as bad as I lead myself to believe, not fun, but not bad, we all are scared I promise. We as MS'er may be different but in the end we all take one day at a time. You'll be OK,Staying positive is KEY!

  • These videos are such a valuable thing for us out here in youtube land that really don't have anyone to talk with about this. This video was great. When you said that you started putting two and two together about the past, that hit me. I've spent this last year wondering if things I thought were character flaws, were actually MS. This diagnosis is comforting in a way. It means that the laziness, inapropriate emotions and memory are not me. They are temporary and can be mitigated. Thank you.

  • Character flaws.....I thought the same things! I just thought a was weird! lol! I blame MS for my "moodyness" turns out i am not a lazy, wench that cant remeber my kids bday! lol! Im a great person with a MonSter in my brain! lol! Im always here, u have my email!

  • Thank you. You are kind.

  • Im here to tell you this video was perfect in explaining everything from emotions and the physical things that change your life....I was dxd in august of 2007...I take copaxone, but have heard much about tysabri and will be talking to my neurologist about it soon ..I have secondary progressive....I have to use a walker because my legs wont work on their own....You touched on how we need to look at the positive not the negative journey...Thank you .I may do a video of my story...Ione(iown) Marie

  • I will look forword to the video of you.....staying positive is truely key.....i just wish I had that secret to give people......but to all my friend her on youtube if you lift me up i promise to return thta ti you twice fold! thx take care!

  • I am glad to hear that you were "lucky" like me and that the doctors were able to know that you had MS so quickly and that you didn't have to wait too long for a diagnosis. I also had the eletrical shocks and yes, they are not fun...but I can pull through them quite well, for now!

Thank you for sharing your story with us. It's not easy, I know, but we can make it and we can live with MS! We just can't give up...

Best wishes and good luck with everything!

  • Do you get so fatigued with your life that you loose your appetite ect.... i dont make suppers anymore ect. the kids are 13 and 17 now i feel bad i was wondering did you make supper all the time i feel bad i dont. i am just depressed ect they have food in the house allot of times we get take out. or my task oriented mom will have something at her house left over or something. other than that most everything is done. oh the dishes too i find hard to get at i feel like a bad mom

  • I do get very fatigued....and I get "spells' of weakness in my arm. My kids are usually "help themselves mode" If I am tired, I just say "OK , its sandwich night or cereal night" When I do cook it is very simple stuff like hamburger -helper, spagetti ect...... My kids are not picky eaters, which is good and my

daughte(13) likes cook. Doing dish is hard somtimes for me, my arms get weak, I have to take breaks on just a small amount dirty dishes. (Dishwasher's broke). CONT.......

  • CONT.....I am not a neat freak, but I do keep the house neat, Dishes may pile in the sink but for me life is short and its importance is low. I would think kids place eating a huge meal WITH mom and eating a sandwich WITH mom of equal status. I am sure you do the best you can, And if they know you have MS then they understand more then you might realize.

  • I just now got around 2 watching this vid...it was awesome!! Well done...I'd give u 100 stars if I could! :P

  • Thanks! It was my first video of myself.....I felt stupid talking the camera! *lol*

  • No, not stupid at all!! U did awesome!!!
