She's speaking english with chinese accent because she wants to fit in the asian society. A lot of eurasians do that. It's so annoying and bugging, I can speak british accent but I need to adapt when talking to my asian friends cause they won't understand. Need to keep switching channel lol. =P
Oh God please. Mandy's my god sister and she's a mix. She speaks English pretty well and her Cantonese is not that good. And the Cantonese she's speaking is not the same Cantonese we speak because she's been staying in Hong Kong for a few years already.

@desertp2p Because even if you know English, in Hong Kong, or if you are speaking to an 'Chinese' person, you use the Asian-ish accent. I do that all the time, and I was born in an English base country.
