  • thanks KeniLee~i took your advice about using picks and also tuned to C after watching your vids so a big thanks to you for your inspiration!

  • Very nice. Sounds great with those picks! Open C CGCgce or 151513, is a very interesting tuning. For understanding purposes you can think of it like Spanish tuning 515135 with no high 5th tone. Thanks for sharing. Enoy

  • Really nice...I see you're learning to love those fingerpicks-KenniLee will be most gratified :)

  • thanks Paul~feels strange playing without them now

  • Thanks for posting. Great for jammin' on F harmonica.(Blues cross-harp) 5*****

  • thanks Greg~cyberjammer extraordinaire!

  • Isn't that a beautiful tuning Steve? and your picks seem to become your own nails ;=))

many greetings from the continent, lena

  • thanks Lena~open C seems to work well on my resonator and it loses the banjo sound i get in higher keys.I wasn't sure i could get on with the picks but i'm enjoying using them now

  • Yes indeed Steve. The wonderful thing on Open C tuning is that it has such a large range: from very deep C to very high E. Wonderful tuning and it really works great on your guitar.

  • Nice stuff! 5*

    Thanks man..keep it up!

    Cheers manuel

  • thanks very much manuel

  • Told ya so! You need those picks on a resonator, and so now you are cookin'.

  • thanks hoopiejohn~ feeling comfortable with the picks now and i'm glad i stuck with them!

  • Good stuff Steve. I haven't really tried using the slide for full coverage of the strings. Works quite well with a good finger pick rhythm.

  • thanks BB :-)
