Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose. I know very little about X-Japan, Queen, LedZeppelin, and Journey, and I've only heard a few of their songs. You're right about Queen having more success than X-Japan, but that's obvious since the music industry in America is far bigger than it is in Japan, which is one reason why they gain more success--plus, most American's won't listen to anything they can't understand. No band is literally "better" than the other. Music preference is opinion.

Many famous guitar players have used the towel and doorknob trick to alleviate pressure on the shoulder that is caused by having a guitar on your shoulder so much. I think that he passed out (he had been drinking) and then towel slipped.

Also, there was no note left, which is also suspicious in a suicide.

X Japan have proven they can play kick but metal (Kurenai, Silent Jealousy Etc), epic progressive virtuosity (Art of Life) so when they play the soft stuff it comes off as authentic and truly emotional. In other words they have payed their dues and are allowed to write a love song that kicks butt as much as their other stuff. You can recognize the depth and insight that goes into these tunes that lifts them above the love balled mediocrity. Brilliant, X Japan!!!!!
