Toller fFlieger!. Bin am überlegen mir auch einen zu kaufen. Ich würde allerdings gerne ein Einziehfahrwerk in dieses Modell bauen. Glaubst du das passt vom Platz her?

Natürlich, ist ja ein Segelflugzeug ;-) Da ich immer am Hang fliege, verwende ich den Motor eigentlich nur im "Notfall", falls ich mal absaufe und die Thermik nicht mehr ausreicht, um wieder aufzudrehen. Gruß

Nein, die Flügel sind, wie der Rest vom Flugzeug, aus dem Werkstoff "Hypodur®", wie er bei Hype heißt - also so eine Art Hartschaum.

Very nice video! I have one of those but here in Holland I have not had the opportunity to fly it in good thermals. You hardly used any motor here. Great countryside too!

Did you use any aileron mixes/differential as it turns so nice and flat?

No i did the flight with the original RC components without any mixers. In our country there are high mountains with very goot thermals and that´s what sailplanes are made for! So normaly I don´t use the motor. I hope the day will come that you have the opportunity to fly your DG-1000 in a realy good thermal!

Der Akku reicht schon für ein paar Steigflüge aus. Wenn man allerdings die Thermik etwas sucht - für was ein Segler ja eigentlich gebaut ist - kann man ohne Probleme auch mehrere Stunden mit einer Akkuladung fliegen. Dafür werden am Hang die Landungen etwas schwieriger. Die ersten paar Flüge sollte man daher schon in der Ebene machen, wo man schön gegen den Wind landen kann. Gruß Sammy

dein Flug sieht mega aus, bis aber wohl auch ein geübter Pilot!?

Wie es bei dir aussieht, ist bei Flügen in Hanglagen kein Motor nötig?

Hallo, ja ich habe schon etwas Übung. Das Flugverhalten der DG-1000 würde ich aber als anfängertauglich einstufen. Das Flugzeug hat eine recht gute Gleitleistung - etwas Thermik reicht daher aus um oben zu bleiben. Den Klappmotor nehme ich eigentlich nur, wenn ich "abgesoffen" bin.
