  • Yeah, that guy threw the can right over my son's head and hit the cop. My son was later pulled in by his hair and arrested for NOTHING. He was a speaker at the meeting and was turned away. All he was doing was trying to protect those girls in the white tee shirts that were later arrested too. Can we say "Excessive Force"??!! Still trying to find those girls that were arrested. Heard 1 was a UC San Diego student. But that's all we know...

  • @johnwcpc Excessive force is somewhat of a normality for san diego college students... I have uploaded a video of the sdsu pd kicking in my friend's apartment door and then macing them for no apparent reason.

  • My son was the first one arrested at this peaceful protest. He was just trying to shield and protect the girls that were getting pushed with billy clubs. He was hit with pepper spray and clubbed too (like what happened at CS Davis) by these bully cops. He then was dragged back in to the building by his hair before being cuffed.

We are looking for the 2 other girls arrested with the white shirts (with red letters) to compare notes on a possible excessive force complaint. My twitter is: OC_GUY

  • I continue to be amazed at the comments of people who neither know the issues or are stupidly ignorant of basic economic theory. That is, tomorrow's economy is dependent on students obtaining a degree and graduating. When fees go up, students eventually will stop attending. When that happens, all of society will suffer. Same thing if people go and just take out more and more loans. Clean up your own intelligence before you try and accuse others of stupidity. And I have a degree, thank you.

  • that guy threw a can at the cops and walked away, lol

  • @SofaKingAwesome89 You nailed it! I know UC and CSU like the back of my hand......Most of the administrators are way overpaid, like most state and local government administrators in California....Their benefits and compensation packages are scandalous. Hound them!

  • @bboucharde My dad works for UC. Believe me, you are highly mistaken. Why don't you cite some sources before stating shit.

  • @brandnubian69 Page 2: The bloated headcount & sky-high salaries of UC admin is well known: "UC Executive salaries grew so much between 1996 and 2004 that newspapers like the San Francisco Chronicle and the Sacramento Bee featured stories that illustrated runaway UC executive compensation and the high “Above Base Pay” supplements and “Additions to Pay,” and even provided searchable databases listing the salaries of all UC employees." from: UCLA FACULTY ASSOCIATION NEWSLETTER, SPRING 2008

  • @brandnubian69 Page 3: Governor Brown, whom I personally know, is aware of the problem of bloated management staff & sky-high admin salaries at UC. You are lucky to have him as governor, as he is a very aware and bright man. He is very busy with other issues right now, but if I were a UC administrator or regent, I would start to dial-down my spending & debt levels--to adjust to the new paradigm that is coming. UC faculty & students have been screwed in the anus for ten years. Time to revolt!

  • the cops hit the glass and broke the door
