She had favorites but cared for us and for our work deeply. I know exactly what you mean by "not getting along", she made no secret of it.

Creation was a tumultuous process with her and the workshop felt like a battleground at times and at times it was loving, it was as if once the jousting was done, there was someone there to nurse the wounds and deliver all the soldiers back home. She changed me forever. I am so glad I took that workshop.
