Stobbart drivers make all HGV drivers look bad. They have new equipment, and crap, inexperienced drivers. Just look at that tv show, what a joke, no way does that reflect on every HGV driver or company. Most HGV drivers work, not sit in there cab looking pretty, or spend all day polishing there cab and wheels, pathetic.

Problem is that some lorry drivers do the HGV1 and think they are professionals.

At the end of the day its a three day test which you either pass or fail. Its not like you are flying the space shuttle. Most lorry drivers struggle with even communicating with fellow beings.

I have been on that exact bay, and done it in one shot, but to gain the experience we have to go through trials and tribulations, it's all part of the learning curve. Not one artic driver on here can say they have never got into trouble or had minor blips along the way.
