@nickfreshalive I think this tune was only played when they did the Soul Train Line up. She never performed this tune live. Slammin track though.

She did write the song on the Wild Animal record. I had the Album hte song were written in her handwriting! But she didn't write on her second album Skin on Skin. She helped on some of the song on Vanity6 too! I sooo Love Her!!!! Talk about a sexy women

Vanity plays to her strengths and speaks French with Morris Day for a fine duet of style, sardonic with, playful banter. She moans and wriggles with perfection and vocalizes with attitude. This is her forte. One of favorite tracks. Lil Kim should learned from her.

"a wreck" makes more sense given that the rest of the song isn't as explicite contextually.
However, when I first heard this song back in the day, I thought "erect" was used as well.
It's safe to assume "a wreck" is the lyric.

I agree with you. She can sing... most of what I hear is "she was fine but not vocally talented". But when I listen to this and some other songs, it seems like she could sing pretty well

Maybe its because i was a kid when this song came out but listening to it now it seems she could have benefitted from a vocal coach she probably could have been a bigger singer if she had better production and a really good vocal coach and left the drugs alone

Vocal coach, that's right. Listen to her song Pretty Mess if you can. I could not listen to it. For those who bagged on Britney, Vanity had her beat in the "can't sing to save her life" department. This song was half-way decent mostly for the music and Morris Day.
