I'm nearly happy that guy left you a comment saying what he did about you being vegetarian, otherwise this video wouldn't have come about. I bet you inspired loads of people to try being vegetarian. I might even go back after watching this. Ta :)
@iluvantanddec1 Wow thanks so much. It's comments like these that make YouTube worthwhile for me! Please do have a go at it, and if you don't enjoy it that's fine. I promise you'll feel good for it though! Thanks again! ^^
You make some really good points. I'm personally not a vegetarian. Wasn't brought up that way & shameful to admit i actually do enjoy eating meat as from my family in Lebanon it is a big part of all our meals. But just because you were brought up a certain way doesn't mean that's who you Have to be. I more then anyone understand that you have to be constantly changing yourself and evolving until you find the best version of yourself that you can possibly be. Everyone should try being vegetarian
Funny that you brought this up in this video today because I talked about this topic in my class today. AND personally I think it's cool you are a vegetarian, makes you unique. Reason why I eat meat is because I grew up eating it, and because it goes back to Biblical times. It used to be a sin to eat meat until the Great Flood where it says in Genesis 9: 1-3 that we can eat animals. I don't know, I don't mind people that don't eat meat, and I don't mind people that do. I'm very neutral on it.
@BrainBlast Thank you for your comment, it's very interesting. Whilst being a Christian myself, I feel like not everything in the Bible is 100% correct. If you were to follow the Bible directly by word, it would be punishable to wear cotton and any synthetic fabric together. So I do think that it is flawed in some aspects.
No offence, but unless you live in a wooden hut in a forrest that hasn't destroyed the habitat for it's creation, then you are also paying for the deaths of animals. So many animals have been killed so that the human race can make their habitats our habitats. That includes your house. At one time there were animals living in their habitat and they were killed and their habitat destroyed so your home can be built. Alot of vegetarians don't realize this. We all kill animals for comfort (houses).
@SpikedYum Well that's true. I don't fully agree with that either. If a house is trying to get planning permission in the middle of a prime place for natural life, I will of course object. However I don't feel like my house, nor many houses I know of, are actually an obstruction to life. And if they are, there is not anything I can do at the moment, due to my house being built when I was three. However, something we can change is the slaughter of animals in their thousands everyday. Thanks!
@MearaStyx It's the same as the meat industry. At some point where every house stands there was an animals habitat. I'm not saying you're wrong for living in a house because I believe that we as a species have evolved and have the right to make houses (aslong as it doesn't completely destroy any more of the habitats). You may object to it but you still live in the house and most likely will other houses that were in the situation. We can have a better means to housing than we do now.
The ONLY fault in this argument is that aliens developed enough to make it here would probably be advanced to the point where they would be civilized enough to help us sort out our problems to co-exist peacefully, well done sir (not vegetarian but only due to my food neophobia)
whilst not agrreeing with some of the things you said i apologies for roughness of my comments and i can understand your point of views. i think meat eating is traditional and something that people who always do it enjoy it so why stop?
@DavidTall1988 Thank you for your apology. I understand why there is a sense of pride among meat eaters, and that's OK. However I think that it is 'traditional' is a weak point, because wives in relationships staying at home and looking after children in traditional. Staying at home every Sunday is traditional, and sacrificing animals to God is traditional. That does not make any of them OK or right. Thank you for understanding.
I have a lot of friends who are vegetarian and Onision's and your videos have had a large influence on my views on the matter, and I have considered it. I've been eating much less but I'm still an omnivore but I respect your opinion and am still mulling over this issue. Still, I completely agree in the fact that you shoudn't receive hate or abuse from uninformed meat-eaters that don't know their place. Keep up the great work.
@DubNinja7 thanks a lot! and hey Onision is amazing! If you ever decide to become a vegetarian, please let me know as I would be really interested. thanks again, your support means a lot. <3
