@Akirathedon92 Because with a powerful Telescope like Hubble, you can actually see back in time. Images travel at light speed but because the Hubble can peer into deep space at a vast distance than the human eye, it is able to see images that have not made it to Earth yet. (Supernovas, etc) It's kind of like a car going past you moves as fast as it actually is, but from a plane that same car moving at the same speed looks like slow motion. The big bang ended but the images are still traveling.
