  • God this makes me so happy I want to cry. Lol.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this. I am just recently getting into post rock. I am addicted already haha. Listening to This Will Destroy You on the bus everday for the past week now, and discovering new bands every day. One of the greatest things I like about this music, is how amazing the people that listen to it our. There is no other Genre of music out there that has the kind of youtube comments you see here. Thanks again (:

You shouldn't dislike a video just because no one else has, you attention whore. It had 156-0 for a reason, twit.

  • @GinoAlessandroC ur a d bag.

  • If I was god I would turn the clouds into speakers and play this all day...

  • Unreal and yet here it is.

  • Does the sun move around the screen, or the screen move around the sun ?

  • @distdekaerth Sun around the screen lol

  • I really love these post rock bands, but I was wondering if anyone knows some songs/bands that are a little more upbeat. I already have a lot of songs that have a slow pace. They're beautiful and I'm obsessed with them, but it is nice to have some upbeat songs too. Any suggestions?

  • @raquelmaria15 Check out Bicycle by Lebanon.

  • @raquelmaria15 "The Echelon Effect" has been a recent favorite, you should give him a listen!

  • @raquelmaria15 Maybeshewill are a really good up and coming post rock band. Also (though this is a bit of plugging :-p) Check out Ariya - they've only got 2 songs out at the moment but I think they're a bad to watch.

  • I am in love with that one especially...;)

  • Every one of their songs creates a whole inside me full of memories, mostly ones that cause me grief, during the intro. As the song progresses, I can feel those emotional memories soften into feathery light that surfaces to my skin threatening to cause exit wounds. I can feel the rising pressure, the wave of sound. I feel as if someone has punched me. I stagger, holding onto the edge of my desk. Music turns to bombs, debris is falling around me, I watch as I try to recover from the experience.

  • How does something like this happen?

    I'm glad it did.

  • this is my first time to listen to post rock band like these and i already like it!

  • @stephencarlmagno Try listening to Explosions In The Sky, Lights Out Asia, Hammock, God Is An Astronaut, Mogwai, Saxon Shore, Sigur Ros, The Album Leaf, The Six Parts Seven, So Above So Below, and of course more This Will Destroy You. Hope your new love for post rock grows through these bands, give them a listen and you won't regret it =)

  • @PeaceOfTheUnknown - What about Jakob? They are absolutely amazing, and should be definitely checked out.

  • @PeaceOfTheUnknown I would strongly suggest checking out A. Armada, Caspian, and Moving Mountains in addition.

  • @PeaceOfTheUnknown 65daysofstatic too. :)

  • @PeaceOfTheUnknown and SLEEP DEALER. check them out

  • @PeaceOfTheUnknown you forget about: Joy Wants Eternity, EF, Yndi Halda, The American Dollar (more electrical).

  • @PeaceOfTheUnknown have you tried Mono, Cicada Revolution and Meniscus?

  • It is relaxing video with a great inspirational band ;-)

  • If God had to create the universe all over again I bet he'd play this on his iPod while doing it.

  • @chikish Definitely!!!

  • The prime example of how a single guitar note can KILL, and destroy not only you, but the whole universe as well. In other words, this music is pure flawless talent digitalized on a disc. This band is the big red "Power OFF" switch of the world.

  • What's the band called again? :D Kidding, but the sounds are very fucking cool.

  • Niccce, what the band called? This Will Destroy you??

    Peace

  • @Stu411 Yes, the band is called 'This Will Destroy You' =) They have only been around for about 5 years now.
