Your first argument, that I see no evidence for god, and therefore god does not exist. There is more too it then that, because I would just reply with the argument from unbelief. The particular god you have in mind, is one who is good, and WANTS people to know that he exists. So in this case, no evidence for god, is actually evidence against god.
Your error is in assuming that "not believing" something implies believing that it is NOT true. I am an Atheist, because I do not believe that a god exists, I accept that I cannot infact "know" that and so I am also Agnostic, but this is also not a simple yes/maybe/no. I also do not believe that Unicorns exist, and again, I realise that I cannot "know" that in the strict sense since it's possible for a fossil to be found tomorrow, I can make a judgement about likleyhood based on evidence tho.
Your error is drawing a correlation where there is none. I fully well know that not accepting something as true is not the same as believing it is not true.
I asked: “Is it objectively wrong to molest babies for fun?”
You said: “no it isn’t, that is an emotional argument to make me say something that sounds awful, a typical deceitful tactic of christians…”
“a typical deceitful tactic of christians” betrays your belief in objective moral values.
So, I ask again:
“What’s wrong with the use of an emotional argument to make you say something that sounds awful, even if it is classed as a typical deceitful tactic of Christians?”
What’s wrong with the use of an emotional argument to make you say something that sounds awful, even if it is classed as a typical deceitful tactic of Christians?
How much less of a discovery is it in comparison to yours that “things that are invisible” like the wind “and things that don’t exist look remarkably the same”?
@joehardysr The proof that something exists depends on whether it can be detected and measured. Unlike your God, the wind can be detected and measured even though it is invisible.
.
You seem to be very intelligent, but to not recognize the man-made nature of God is to be ignorant of history and the solipsistic human condition.
@joehardysr Funny, I always thought you needed a brain to have a mind.
.
And yes... intelligence, cognitive ability, memory and even emotion can be observed and measured in some way because they are real. If you are suggesting that the mind is a product of magic or divinity and not a physical reality, think again. Why do you think your mind alters when take drugs or alcohol?...
.
btw, great family photo. Sincerely... beautiful family.
Aren’t you, at best, detecting brain activities? It still doesn’t answer the question: “Where is the mind in the brain?”
Alcohol alters brain function. You need to exist to have a mind; you need to be alive to have a mind. Existing does not necessarily imply having a mind. So merely being alive or having a brain have not been shown to be a necessary condition for having a mind.
@joehardysr The mind is a product of the brain. It is not something that already exists on its own, waiting for a brain to come along to occupy.
.
"Where is the mind in the brain ?" is like asking "Where is the painting in a painter ?"... "Where is the number 4 in 2+2 ?"... "Where is the horsepower in a car engine ?".
.
The mind is wonderful output of the brain, not a pre-existing piece of software that runs on it.
Do you believe your cat may be? If so, what evidence is there to support your belief?
I have provided evidence for an everlasting and eternal, self-existent, omnipresent, united, good, just, omniscient, unchanging, omnipotent, creative, intelligent, personal, and Supreme being.
GOD IS: Evidence for the Existence of God
youtube.com/watch?v=HLD_Qi4kPg0
Engage with my arguments and present support for yours.
No, nobody ever was able to prove the existence of any gods. So it is save to assume no gods exist at all, untill evidence is provided for the existence of a god.
Existence makes no provision for proof/truth/lies/opinions/evidence/morals/design/knowledge/faith/hope/experimentation/observation....or any such nonsense.
Existence is observer-independent and can only be critically reasoned. God either exists or He doesn't.
It is IMPOSSIBLE for a God to exist...here is why...
"Did you observe that existence is observer-independent?"
Reality is NOT dependent on the OPINIONS of humans and their amusing & ridiculous observations. Reality is critically reasoned and RATIONALLY explained. Whether the Moon exists is NOT based on YOUR observation, got it?
"What is your critically reasoned response to my arguments?"
What is your argument....that God exists? I already explained to you in my article why it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to exist!!!
When people invoke observers and their opinions within definitions and explanations, then of course they have the right to "personally" conclude that God exists, Allah exists, Zeus exists, witches & goblins & monsters exist, and flying spaghetti monsters exist.
But I hope you understand that one's opinion does not reflect reality (i.e. existence). Existence is objective! Existence is free from observers and their opinions.
I notice that most of the fallacies you claim atheists make are just mirrors of arguments theists can make. For example, the argument from personal experience; for a theist just because they believe in a god from personal experience does not mean that a god exists. Also, even if there were no disproofs for god, there still must be evidence for god, just because there is no counter-argument does not mean that a god exists.
I have provided evidence for an everlasting and eternal, self-existent, omnipresent, united, good, just, omniscient, unchanging, omnipotent, creative, intelligent, personal, and Supreme being in “GOD IS: Evidence for the Existence of God” located at:

Those are the arguments you should attempt to engage, as I have pointed out in this video.

You place the words on a line, Theist, Agnostic, Atheist, with those matching your "Yes, I don't know, and No" options... that's wrong!
It is 4 words, in pairs..
the first about knowledge Gnostic vs Agnostic - (knowledge, vs lack of knowledge)
the second about belief Theist vs Atheist - (belief, vs disbelief)
Most "Atheists" hold the position Agnosticism, and Atheism (I can't know, but I don't believe).
No one can know! Atheists disbelieve based on evidence, Theists believe based on Faith.

@lewiar
I referred to three basic knowledge-based responses at the beginning of the video. Any correlation made to theist, atheist, and agnostic is your own.

It is your place, or any objector, to make a case against my arguments. They are stated here:

One ought not to attribute blame to the presenter of the argument if one is incapable of properly articulating their objections.
