  • @SarahsFabChannel dang, you're pretty sexy.

  • Wow 2009!! Ok tonight I'm going back to the very beginning to get all the running tips possible! Great tip on running at a different pace during your run! Erica

  • thankyou for sharing the information with everyone. by the way you look gorgeous in a bikini :)

  • what do u do in the wenter??

  • long time runners look as though their bodies had cannibalizes muscle for fuel for the sake of the sport. Doesn't weight bearing exercise preserve and build muscle for long term. I am not an expert , but I rather have the muscle to burn fat than can't walk , because bad joints from running intensely. It seems running as a primary exercise , hurts the body in the long term as we age.

  • Hey sarah I am so lucky to have a mentor like You I am enjoying my body

  • she could make me lose weight

  • You look like Lauren Collins =)

  • But I'm to big and fat to run.

  • i have a question (anyone can answer):

i thought running every time you work out is kinda bad, because your body gets used to it. i am a runner and every time i go to the gym i run and i don't do much else. is that bad? also, i don't want to get big thigh muscles. how do i avoid that?

  • do u want a burger? =D

  • Very nice presentation, well done

  • you cud pass for 15 lol luv that u do interval training. need to do only 30 minutes and then do weights, circuit training and strength training too, but u rock, u go gurl!

  • you are so pretty!

  • Heres the badics, Im 16, 250 pounds, I have man tits, Will 1 month of your routine be enough to lose maybe 40 pounds?

    btw, im 6ft tall.

  • can you do a video update on this topic?

  • running is cool but inline is a lot more fun and faster and burns the same calories to each its own

  • hhaha i never tought about alternating speed when runnin im sure dats gonna help me a lot damm thanxx lady :]

  • i'm working out on a regular basis, not as much as you do but 3-4 times a week! cardio and strength! i'd like to become a good runner though (my cardio is mostly on a crosstrainer or a spinningbike) so my question is: how did you first start out? how fast should a beginner run? how long time? i'm always demotivated because i don't know what i'm supposed to do!

  • at 1:02 regarding the fish oil supplements...i took your advice and went out & got some :) QUESTION though, do you know why or how they help you run better? your vids are super helpful, thank you sarah!

  • have a question ! is 13 too young to have a personal trainer?

  • @rach0babe make sure your personal trainer has experience with teens! I would suggest trying out for a sport like track or cross country if you can.

  • @rach0babe LOL XD

  • so do you not recommend running on the treadmill or working the elliptical? would it be better to run freestyle on the road for more control?

  • @krngirlie89 I like road running the best. The treamill is fine, but harsh on the knees, and you've gotta use it at at least a 1.0 incline. Elliptical can be effective as long as you are using it properly. Ask a trainer at your gym to find out.

  • but, i dont go to a gym.. i have equipment in my basement...could u do a vid on that?

  • @SarahsFabChannel wait your saying that a treadmill is less hard on your knees than the road? how it that?

  • Great video Sarah. I didn't know fish oil supplements could help out like that.

  • hi sarah. you really have helped me so much. i wanted to thank you for everything. also, your hair is very pretty.

  • "what do i do to stay in shape" ...

You're wrong Sarah, you know? The most important thing YOU do, is that you do it regularly. What people looking at your videos ARE looking for, is a 5-minute fix to their lifetime problems.

  • Hi, Sarah. I applaud you for your positive attitude and encouragement of health for others.

My life (and goals) are (obviously) different from yours. I am 45 years old, male, but even when I was 20 or a teenager, I was always ugly. So, I never felt the need to exercise, since exercise will not un-do my natural appearance. Furthermore, since exercise will not reverse aging.

I have been mostly vegan since 1984 - to prevent torture and killing of innocent animals in factory farms.

  • 2. It's consuming. People who are really into exercising and "being healthy"--well, it seems like it's all they do. I really do want to be healthy, but if that means that my whole life will revolve around it, well... Then I'm not really adding any time on to my life, am I? I mean, it really is an entire culture--they buy equipment, they get top-of-the-line exercise clothes and shoes, and they're always trying the latest workout video and fat burning fad. It's not something I desire.

  • I've enjoyed these videos, but there are a couple of things that bother me about the whole "exercise" culture.

    1. The exercises are a hard workout even for those who ARE ALREADY IN GOOD SHAPE. That means that those of us who are fluffballs have an impossible time trying to keep up and are ready to collapse after 5 minutes.

  • i love your vids, thank you!

  • You should make a showoff video showing off how many push-ups and sit-ups you can do :) Keep up the good work Sarah

  • Hey Sarah i was wondering if u have ever tried CArlson's Norwegian Cod Liver Oil in Lemon flavor. Its from whole foods and i was considering buying it. Please let me know what you think. thanks!!!!

  • hey sarah i got a question. i'm a guy and my goal is to bulk up overall while losing tummy fat at the same time(everywhere else is fine except for the tummy, which i have a bit of fat although i am only 65kgs). how should i go about doing this? should i lose the fat first before bulking up or the other way round? or could i do them together? can u give us a rough idea of how this could be done? thanks

  • do them together, do atleast 40 minutes of weight training a day then continue with 20 minutes of interval training, you'll burn fat and build muscle at the same time. and the more muscle you carry the more calories u burn a day. make sure u also follow a healthy diet

  • Hey Sarah! Thanks for the VID! um, you're in pretty amazing SHAPE! So can you please tell us.. sort of an ideal workout plan for a week...? Say I could work out like 3-4 times a week? Is it better that I go everyday for 30 mins? Or should I go like 3-4 days and have a crazy 1 hour workout?

  • What is your goal? Overall health, training for some sort of 5k event or weight loss?

  • Wow thanks for the quick reply :) Weight loss and overall fitness..

  • @SarahsFabChannel Workout attires don't get anymore casual than a swimsuit and a pair of flip flops. But the workouts in the video looks very challenging.

  • So glad you started this channel. Love seeing them.

  • wow your really inspiring. my problem is i have a thin waist, but i really want to tighten and tone. I find it difficult because nothing seems to work.. I tend to ski meals ( i know! its bad! D:) a lot, and when ever I try to go running my chest cramps up really bad :C I think it may be because of the weight on my chest but I'm not sure... im only 16 and im not driving yet so i cant buy anything, and there is not much food in our house so its hard to eat healthy. please help me!! D: reply?

  • lol ur vids, i wanna start running but my only problem is i forget to make sure my breathing is good. Sometimes i find myself holding my breath for a little, and I know that makes you slow down and become tired and soon you stop, but I just have a problem with it, but I am starting it again and going to do better! haha gotta think good, probably even run in the winter. I live in PA but lately the part I am in we have good winters mostly, haha i hate snow, lol.

    Ur pretty awesome, thnx.

  • You should consider being a model.

  • great video!

what type of shoes do you use to run?

  • can you do a video on your full daily excerise routine and some tips on how to strech

  • yeah you're the best ever! You should sell DVDs of your bikini workout.

  • i have an idea which you could do for this channel...

set us fitness challenges, (eg how many push ups in a min, how fast you can complete a circuit you showed us) then we post video responses to see if we can beat you or other members on youtube :)

sorta fun idea which you may consider

  • I love the idea! Thanks so much for letting me have it! hehe

  • thank you for tips on running:)

    made me want to run:)

but it's like 1:15 in the morning so yeah..haha

  • good sarah............

  • Maybe you could give some advice as to how to start getting into a running routine. I love the idea of running but have never really done much of it and find I get cramps (obviously from being out of shape) and would love some beginners tips.

  • thanks for the tips! =)

  • Wow you did the bathing suit request! Well, if you got it, flaunt it! ;)

My daily calorie allowance is also1200-1400. I struggle w/ staying within that even on a diet that mainly consist of fresh, whole and unprocessed foods. Any tips? And any tips on emotional and binge eating tendancies?

  • this is a hard one - I have ideas but I'll post them in a video instead if that's cool?

  • Cool. And thnx - I'm sure the vid will also help others:)

  • what if you cant run? =( srsly, i doubt i could. injuries in army, much pain.

maybe other cardio suggestions too? elliptical machine etc...

you dont think the caffeine + workout will mess w ppls hearts? or yours for that matter

great vid! i like these more personal ones from you. you have a nice personality

  • One cup of coffee no - studies show it's fine (that is of course assuming you're not having coffee all day leading up to the run) - also, have you ever thought about bikini or swimming? I hate bikes, but love swimming, I just don't belong to a gym these days with a pool - and I have bad ears...

  • Sarah thats very smart of you to do, intervals of a really high speed, then a slow speed. Didnt know you were that smart (not being sarcastic) good job. A lot of people just stick with slow boring cardio, and dont lose weight...so good for you.

  • It's ok - I don't mind playing up the blonde comments in me. I think heading the ball in soccer all those years did a number on my memory though. Maybe it wasn't soccer, but it's fun to blame it on.

  • Awesome video Sarah! I would like to do some morning workouts, but what should I eat before starting one for energy? Thanks!

  • I would say a little bit carbs and protein. Maybe a half a banana or half of an english muffin with some peanut butter. I can't workout on a full stomach and I usually want to eat the other half of my b*fast after I finish.

  • Legs are rockin...

  • LOL was the bathing suit necessary?

    Oh YouTube :)

I am saving up for an the touch! Gosh i sooo want one

  • it's a beeaaach workout :) Hey, I will never do this in another 2-5 years so I figure at least I'll have these videos to look back and remember how hard I used to workout.

  • Sweet :D 3-5 Miles. Dang. How many calories do you normally eat in a day Sarah?

  • I don't know usually, I'm on the FreshDiet thing which I LOVE but it's only 1200-1400 calories so I eat some peanut butter or almonds on the days I go running :)

  • hmmm i think i may look out for fish oil supplements. do you have a particular brand in mind?

  • hmmm no. Im not big on name brands, bc I believe many generics are name brand and you just don't know it. Some generics though are not pure when it comes to supplements. If it freezes - it's not pure, and there are a few other things to look out for. Ill find some good brands for you shortly.

  • cool, thanks for writing back. :)

  • Do you use the Nike + on your ipod touch?

  • I don't but I keep meaning to buy it! Do you think it's worth it?

  • What kind of fruit do you more like?

I like pineapple, apple and bananas.

  • You have done a good video. Thanks Sarah.

  • How late do you eat and what time is the right time to stop eating before bed?

  • You're supposed to sto eating at 6 in the afternoon.

  • stop**

  • Stop what!!

  • *sigh* nevermind!

  • haha don't worry - i think Oprah stops at 6 or something so dont worry, some people do follow that rule of thumb

  • lol. i usually eat past 6 too, because thats what time my mom gets off work, and dad is to lazy to cook =P

  • I get home at 6 pm so I don't eat dinner until about 7:30-8pm bc i usually workout when i get home. If you have eaten all your calories by 6 for the day, then sure stop but if you have not, and are not going to bed until 11 like me, don't worry about a certain time.
