Holy shit I remember this song. And how fucking hard the clam boss was. Wasn't all you had to do is just avoid the pearls it shoots out until it automatically died or something? I remember at the time I listened mostly to Quiet Riot and holding the gameboy to my ear to listen to 8-bit asskicking like this. At actually sounds a lot like late Industrial Records output, especially Chris Carter's stuff, only without the screeching sine waves over it.

No, you have to make the pearls hit the thing in the corner and then move out the way, so it his the thing and then bounced back into the clam.

Yeah, for Gameboy music, this is really, REALLY good. In fact, I think this may be the best boss music on any regular Gameboy game (i.e. excluding Gameboy Color games, because Lufia III has some kickass boss music too).
