  • Well, I happen to fly two harris hawks. I love them both. Not everyone likes Harris Hawks. Also, a Harris will NEVER catch a Chukar Partridge once it gets airborne, which is what this Goshawk was training for. This bird never had a trainging problem, he was doing awesome on chukar until he got sick. My partner and I have both moved on to Prairie Falcons, should be fun.

  • why not use a Harris hawk? easier to train and less likely to pick up aspergilosis

  • Sadly Sigg caught aspergilosis and passed away. My friend and I are now both working on prairie falcons.

  • So how did Sigg do this year he looked like a strong bird.
