  • Thank you for making a great video. I made a headband with two flowers so far. But what I am wanting to know is how many rows for an infant? toddler? and adult? I don't have any way to measure for the kids I am making them for and have no clue how long to make them.

    that part is confusing me.

  • I am enjoying your videos, but are you using an acrylic yarn to make these headbands? Can you be a bit specific - I'd like to use the same brand your using. Thanks!

  • I LOVE YOUR WORK I DID IT IN LESS THAN 20MINS INCLUDING THE FLOWER THANK YOU SO MUCH LOVE YOUR WORK KEEP THEM COMING...THANKS

  • this was my first actual project single learning the single and double crochet stitches themselves. I practiced both for several days, and then made this headband. i have made two so far and my daughter LOVES them. I have not learned the flower for it yet, but she is excited to see it. My next project will be something for my son. Thanks so much for making it fun and easy. I had only the internet to teach me how. I love crochet!

  • ok so i am in the uk what size hook and what type of wool do you use here??

  • hmmm my lines dont seem to be zig zag any suggestions please???

  • How many inches do you recommend making this for a newborn's head? I am using 4 ply worsted weight yarn and a size H crochet hook.

  • it is beautiful and easy. Thank you very much. I am making a headband for my friend's baby - I am sure she will love it!

  • what material is that? Is it yarn or a special type of yarn?

  • How long (in inches preferably) is a good length for an infant? I don't have the infant to try it on her at this point, but I'd like to make some before she's born.

  • Brilliant! Talk about easy gifts! You can wear that with or without the flower! Tanks so much!

  • I can't thank you enough for this wonderful project. Easy, simple but stylish. Adjustable, versatile. Wow. Thank you.

  • Thank you sooo very much for the video! This is the first thing that I have ever successfully made!!

  • What size crochet needle do you use for this project?

  • You are amazing!!! I love crocheting with you, your like a friend sitting right next to me and teaching me.. LOVE THIS!!! Thank you so much!

  • that is so darn cute!

  • There are so many variables in this pattern. Sandimoore, if it is too long for the child or adult that you are making it for, you can either work less rows or use a smaller hook or finer yarn. These are some of the ways to make the head band smaller.

    Good luck!!!

And to yadontknow, I'm so glad and thank you!

  • this is exactly what i was looking for! thank you. i LOVE the button on flowers too =-)

  • I made the scarf along with you but mine came out large enough for me (an adult) to wear. Was this for an adult or a baby? If its for a baby...I did something sooo wrong.

  • Awesome video!!! I plan to try it AND the flowers. LOVE IT!!

  • I always use yarns that say "soft" on them, because it is softer on my fingers to crochet with. The elasticity comes from crocheting a narrow width and doing many rows instead of crocheting only 3 or 4 very long rows-- does that make sense?

  • What yarn do you recommend for this project since I am assuming they need some elasticity?? Thanks!
