Not sure if anyone has asked this or not but what brand of yarn are you using in this tutorial? It's very pretty!! And thank you for the tutorial! I love this headband....looks super cute on my twin girls! :)
I have made a bunch of headbands and cute littel button on flowers! Thank you so much for easy to follow video and oral instruction. I have looked at other tutorials and for me, yours is the easiest to follow. Thank you. Cheryl
Great Video! I only knew how to crotchet a blanket. Every video I watch I never can get it right. This is the first one I've been able to accomplish. Thanks for the easy and clear instructions!!
Thank you for making a great video. I made a headband with two flowers so far. But what I am wanting to know is how many rows for an infant? toddler? and adult? I don't have any way to measure for the kids I am making them for and have no clue how long to make them.
I am enjoying your videos, but are you using an acrylic yarn to make these headbands? Can you be a bit specific - I'd like to use the same brand your using. Thanks!
this was my first actual project single learning the single and double crochet stitches themselves. I practiced both for several days, and then made this headband. i have made two so far and my daughter LOVES them. I have not learned the flower for it yet, but she is excited to see it. My next project will be something for my son. Thanks so much for making it fun and easy. I had only the internet to teach me how. I love crochet!
I just figured out that the flowers can pop onto the hats I made, I LOVE these headbands soooooo easy! Thank you for sharing the trick to making them elastic mine are too tight!
How long (in inches preferably) is a good length for an infant? I don't have the infant to try it on her at this point, but I'd like to make some before she's born.
There are so many variables in this pattern. Sandimoore, if it is too long for the child or adult that you are making it for, you can either work less rows or use a smaller hook or finer yarn. These are some of the ways to make the head band smaller.
I made the scarf along with you but mine came out large enough for me (an adult) to wear. Was this for an adult or a baby? If its for a baby...I did something sooo wrong.
I always use yarns that say "soft" on them, because it is softer on my fingers to crochet with. The elasticity comes from crocheting a narrow width and doing many rows instead of crocheting only 3 or 4 very long rows-- does that make sense?
Brilliant!
