I did the same as you guys i started reading on wikipedia and got hooked ^^ i loved House of M and Messiah Complex though i still dont know a lot about it. Yesterday i finished reading Ultimate X men all i need is the two annuals and the requiem and ill be done.

lately i have been curious about x-men comics, started reading them on wikipedia, i think that House of M and Messiah Complex are one of the best stories ever it made me want to buy all comic book related to those events just to finally read it like it was suppose to be how can anybody hate on this story this can turn anybody into a fan

The thing I never understood was the face Charles Xavier had when he exited the Cerebro room when he and Beast saw "the pulse" of the new mutant. I've read and read Messiah Complex but they don't explain it. He looks a bit nutty...lol ~ and then in the next issue he's sulking around as everyone else is planning what to do.

X-men needs an enima. they need to just erase everything that was written after Apocalypse: The Twelve. Everything after that has sucked. This House of M crap and messiah complex are FAKE.

I can't even fathom why they would kill off the original series? Just like they did with the avengers and they have sucked ever since. Not even Batman and Superman have changed this much. I've lost all respect for marvel when they had spidey reveal his secret identity to everyone.

your problem is you do not life change. You want the marvel universe to stay the same way it was when you were a kid. Comics are becoming more and more main stream and less of a nerd geek thing. A lot a fans who grew up in the 70's-early 90'd are upset, but at the same time comics books are gaining a lot of new from people who normally wouldn't read comics. its the 21st century now learn to live with it.
