The Mets bullpen blew the division for them, but their team is in disarray. They choke when it matters because they get ahead of themselves. They showboat too much (like Reyes when he hit that homer) and no one on the team tells them to stop. If anyone showboated on the Phillies, the guys would be all over them. Look at Rollins when he failed to hussle on that pop-out. He was benched. The reigning MVP was benched. You don't see that on the Mets and that's why they can't win when it matters.

Looking at the past comments, it's funny to me how people continually say that the Rays should have won the World Series because they were "clearly the better team". People fail to mention that the Phillies got on base and left a lot of runners in scoring position. If they knock home some of those runs, it could have been a sweep and the games would not have been close. I love how everyone in the national media is trying to say the Phillies have a big drop-off in pitching after Game 1. Last time I checked, James Shields is 1-2 with an ERA of almost 4 in the post-season. Myers has already beaten CC Sabathia and Chad Billingsley head-to-head in the post-season. Funny, Shields couldn't hold Billingsley's jock, and we tattooed Billingsley twice in the post-season.
