If you like go and check all videos of DSB, I love her most and she has wonderful performance on the song "EXCUSE ME" - both versions are great but I prefer the earlier one, anyway it brings me to tears when I heard it... Hope John Miles will invite her to sing this song for me, also "When I Fall in Love" will be great if they could duet...

I know all videos of Sirley Bassey very well, I love the fact she is now 70 years old, doing her daily excersises, protecting her voice and ust continio with her carrier as always at her best! She is also singing "Try a Little Tenderness" (great choice for her birthday party;) as John Miles with Tina Turner at her Last Tour. Yes, i was also there and I liked this song but I was so happy with "Once Upon a Time in a Wet" from Enrico Morricone - John Miles was great with his mondharmonika :-) and I hope NOTP organisation will invite Enrico Morricone as a guest conductor this year or soon, he is so increadible also as conductor, did you know that?!?

Surely! i am on the proms concert since 1999 in Antwerpen, Rotterdam, and Dortmund(germany) i am a Freak ;-) I was wonderes that john miles played la sagrada Familia...i was there at 28. on the tv records, and he was not playing this song.

P.S: This year, the Proms starting in Spain ;-)

To my great surprise John Miles played La Sagrada Familia again in Antwerpen as you can see. It was the first concert from this spring notp edition. The proms tour is starting in Belgium, going to France and ending in Spain. Did you check the website?

This is a recording from "My First Night" in Antwerp. It's a kind of Night of the proms for kids. I played the kettledrums when it was recorded btw... ;-)
