  • lakers getting fuked!! love the dunkage, shows atheltes of yesterday match any today

  • @jaygatsby A-train is in the hall of fame

  • Lettuce be real. Today's NBA athletes today are the "superior" athletes/players/talent.... Seriously though, I'm mocking the many people today who believe past era's were like the stone age of basketball... This sequence looks as stunning as anything you could ever see in today's game. Yet good luck even finding action this intense in today's game. The game has devolved into "me" ball where guards and forwards pound the ball slowly at mid court waiting for a selfish 1 on 5 isolation move

  • @dantheman9758 you are just as ignorant as the people you are criticizing.

  • @fatal9ish So are you.

  • I can't believe Artis Gilmore is not in the Hall of Fame. What about David Greenwood? I also like Reggie Theus. There were some bad ass players on that floor. I liked Benard King of the Knicks. I heard he is also not in the HOF. These were somd players that could fill it up. Then, Rodman is in the HOF? I think I could have beaten Rodman in a game of one on one. Artis Gilmore must be in the HOF. I think someone is mistaken.

  • @JayGatsbyOdysseus i 1000000000000000000000000000000% agree with you

  • The way both teams were playing, it looked like the ABA

  • imagine he played when mj was there.....

  • Those two dunks are better than most dunks today...

  • THIS WAS NICE, VERY NICE!

  • As a Bulls fan I loved watching Artis Gilmore play. I think the A-Train held Kareem under 20 points in every matchup I saw between them at the old Chicago Stadium.

  • damn! it's like the whole game was in transition lol

if games companies would make a 80's style of basketball game, I would be the first to buy it

  • It is nice that Artis is finally getting his due and going into the HOF.

  • Wow. Reggie Theus dropping some neat little dimes.

  • Good footage of David Greenwood dunkin on people. Always thought he could have been better than what he was.

  • 0:28 is unbelievable even by today's standards.

  • that pass at 0:50 was sick!! and good finish!

  • Artis Congrats....Hall of Fame! And well deserved.....mmj

  • ARTIS THE GENTLE GIANT! THOSE WERE THE DAYS WHEN I WATCHED THE NBA NOW..HIP HOP AND MICHAEL JORDAN MESSED IT UP!

  • This is a great video, thanks for putting it up. First time I've seen Artis Gilmore, what a beast.

  • @KangaroosLoveJesus me too, i wanted to see what the bulls were like b4 jordan.

  • Fuck you Andrew Bynum. There is only one true A-Train and it ain't you!

  • Atris Gilmore could overpower anyone in the post

  • Please get him to the god damn hall already!!!

  • Damn, the A-Train shoved it right down Kareem's throat on that one. Beastly...

    >;-)

  • my name is artis too ^^

  • Reggie Theus couldnt play a lick of defense. He was very overated even back then.

  • @ExplosiveThinMan It's funny that when the Bulls drafted Reggie back in '78 the scouting report said "great defensive player, excellent passer and super quickness". I guess 2 out of 3 ain't bad. He got the rep from helping to shut down North Carolina's Phil Ford who never became the great player they thought he'd be.

  • Reggie Theus kind of reminds me of Penny Hardaway

  • Artis not being in the hall of fame is outrageous.

  • @gensu3k1 He is now.

  • @gensu3k1 An oversight that has been corrected.

  • @dredandmrbears U got it...He made Me a Bulls Fan way before Jordan! Congrats Artis.....mmj

  • @gensu3k1 he is now! :)

  • vintage

  • The best basketball era!

  • that spin move and dunk by magic at 0:30 is amazing!!

  • @popeyeisgood Word. People forget how many moves that at 6'9" in his prime that he had. That was a small guard move. Sick.

  • @popeyeisgood:

Withe the left hand no doubt...

  • damn ... u dont see that kind of passing skills in todays game thats for sure...

  • @nikos007333, er...what? It was a good pass and all, but better than anything you see in todays game? That's silly. Watch Nash, Chris Paul, Derron Williams, Rajon Rondo, or really a number of players who have passing skills that easily match this and surpass it. The passing here is just not that impressive.

  • @jdlund THEUS WAS A GREAT PLAYER AND PASSER,THE FACT THAT U COMPARE HIM WITH THE BEST TODAY'S PG PROOVES THAT!COME ON MAN THESE ASSIST ARE IMPRESSIVE AND U DO N'T SEE THEM A LOT TODAY THAN THOSE DAYS!AFTER ALL 80'S WAS THE BEST NBA ERA!

  • @AdreasTheGreat, the passes are fine here. But yes you really do see them a lot today. The argument is patently absurd. People have this really weird need to constantly say everything use to be better (that goes for sports, movies, music, society in general, etc.). It's just nostalgic bullshit. I am old enough that I watched a lot of basketball in the 80s and I get the comment that it was the best overall era. But there is nothing about the passing here that is more impressive than today.

  • @jdlund Give me a list of today's players at 6'9" with court vision and handles like M.J.?

  • @jdlund It is rare to see so many great passes in one game.

  • @jdlund yes it is!!!

  • @TheSupersolomonz, it really isn't. I could watch any number of games, regular season or post season, and see passing that is just impressive today as this passing is here. There's nothing really that special about it. As I said in my other post, it's nothing but nostalgic bullshit.
