I mean for all we know he could've sealed his soul into some mystery Armagus somewhere. Another shared quality of Hazama and That Man is that they both think of absolutely everything, (though in Hazama's case, he just cheated and "saw" it all.)

@KizukuKanshi I like to think of it more as "observed" as they say, which implies Hazama was actively working on it, but I suppose the same applies. To think of Blazblue as the future of the Guilty Gear world was always something I thought about it, the inherent similarities are there, albeit it modified.

And yeah, a cross over game would be awe-haw-some, but without the rights to Guilty Gear, the chances of Arcs doing that is unfortunately slim :( Maybe they're just doing it in their own way

They have the rights to it. It's explained multiple times during the past interviews a few weeks ago, a month ago, a few months ago, even another interview in December that basically said there is no issue anymore with Sega having the rights to it.

That info on 'Arc doesn't have the rights to it anymore' is massively outdated information two years ago.

If your able to play a character in Guilty Gear at a High level (tournament level) You can easily play the whole cast of blazblue at a Mid to high level in no time. Play a character in Blazblue really well you could maybe play a Guilty gear character at a low level. The amount of exicution and skill required for GG is lightyears ahead of BB. Keep BB AWAY from GG.

Anyway, you should be glad that ASW has the rights of GG now, I think we will see a new GG in two years, or at least I hope so.

But this is just a theory, or maybe Guilty Gear was like a prototype and BlazBlue was the final product, another possibility. But it would make me really sad if GG was a prototype used to see how people would react in order to make a better fighting game like BlazBlue.

Well, with the new high res sprites of Blazblue, they can create a new GG, with new music(or remastered), new backgrounds, NEW characters more voices, effects, etc. Blazblue was very helpful in that way. Just lets hope that Daisuke Ishiwatari is thinking or planning(at least) to make a new GG.
