@fivebearrugs: Richie Rich started (the same) on ABC in 1980, with Sparky Marcus as his voice. Originally, he paired with Scooby and Scrappy Doo for two seasons For S3, he was paired with Pac-Man and The Little Rascals. For S4, with the Monchhichis and LR. In 1986, Hanna-Barbera produced edited versions of Richie Rich for CBS, after The Puppy's Great Adventures was cancelled. What you've seen on CBS was edited titles from 1980 (RR/SD Show), and Richie's voice (which was noticable in S3).
Sorry, no can do about link posting in these comments. Again, I must tell you that the cartoon is part of a batch of other '80s cartoons. Wait until May 4.
@ClassicTVMan81 in the youtube comments sections your right you can't post links...But you can click a person"s Youtube channel name and then click the send message button and give them the link that way. I do it all the time. when I share a link with someone. some info to share with you.
all these uploaded "throwback" videos...and nothing on you tube with the little rascals cartoon!!!! some one please get the little rascals cartoon uploaded!!!!
I really enjoyed the animated "Little Rascals" series back in 1982-84. Especially the episode "Cap'n Spanky's Showboat" where Darla had brushes attached to her bare feet to efficiently clean the floor (does anybody have that particular episode to upload?).
I tell you, after this show was cancelled in 1984, ABC was just a dull network to watch - until "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" debuted 15 years later. No wonder ABC's ratings were low until Regis Philbin's show came along.
This is really neat to know they had these spearte back then but then would bring them back as in an hour long version. They did bring out Richie Rich on DVD but with it being the Richie Rich and Scooby Doo Hour. I wouldn't mind owning these on DVD too.
You notice, of course, that the title card for The Monchichis/Little Rascals/Richie Rich Show is a simple redo of the original The Pac-Man/Little Rascals/Richie Rich Show intertitle. The Monchichis logo replaces that for Pac-Man.
I would like to see that one myself. So glad for youtube -- NOW I can prove to people that I wasn't tripping when I tell them that the LR had their own animated series.

The litle rascals were so goods.

Yes, indeed. Patty Maloney, the voice of Darla Hood, is one of my favorite actresses. The Little Rascals cartoons really ought to be released on DVD.

It may be a problem since The Little Rascals aka "Our Gang" is owned by MGM and King World syndication.
Rlotpir1972 2 years ago
popeye is on dvd thru Warner home video. MGM still has ties to Warner Bros

In response to Rlotpir1972:
Crap! If "The Little Rascals" animated series doesn't see light on DVD, all I can do is pray for some episodes to be uploaded to YouTube someday.
JonSea31 2 years ago
Actually, CBS (which absorbed King World) owns the series.
NinJutsuDude1997 2 years ago
That would be because MGM owned The Little Rascals and its likenesses to begin with.

If memory serves me correctly,Rubik The Amazing Cube was it's own stand alone show.

Until I saw this intro I thought "Monchhichis" was a standalone show.
