Don't know if I'd call it a "risk". I think they mostly want to prove that they can do more than fragging nazis, zombies, and hell spawn. It looks like they've used several elements from fantasy, post-apocolyptic, and a few other interesting things that they're not known for. It looks interesting and whether or not the execution is great it should still be worth picking up whether it's a screw up or not.

John Camrack said that this game was originally supposed to be on 3 discs for 360... so only then it could be compared tot he Ps3 version..but Micro-dick charges per disc on how large the game is, BTW he said the game will have not so good graphics and some stuff taken out for the 360 version

Where did you get that from? In most cases the 360 has the better graphics. The only advantage of the PS3 is the Blu Ray player.

the only advantage the ps3 has is blu ray? what are you talking about? blu ray doesnt make the graphics any better but it sure does make a longer game. the 360 has better memory but the ps3 also has a better GPU, their pretty much even but are slightly different in specific areas.

EA has publish for ID software in the past. Quake 3 Revolution was great on the Playstation2.Johnny C. said that RAGE will look best on PC,MAC,Linux & Playstation3. Unfourtnly for XBOX360 fans RAGE will lose about two gigabits worth of graphics quality. So if you want it to run smoothly you've better have an XBOX360 harddrive to store extra cache.Bummer!RAGE will ship on 1 BLUERAY disk for PS3 & 2 DVD disk on the 360.BLUERAY disks can hold more information then 2 DVD combine.DOOM 4 @ 3xPOWER!!

this game apears to be mainly racing with a gun on the top of car to get money, with some fps zombie killing thrown in from what ive seen/read. this trailer shows little in the way of plot or really much atall.

No I'd say you're the idiot here. I thought the video looked quite cool, but does it say anything about the uppcoming game? Classifying a game on a video only is never a good thing.

Take eg. Call of Cthulhu - Dark Corners of the Earth. A good game, but totaly hyped. Where where the physics so neatly demoed in the videos? And the dynamic shadows? Also wasn't Quake first supposed to be a fantasy RPG/shooter?? Or so I've at least heared.

Quake 1 is kinda shooter set in dark fantasy setting, it was originally supposed to be some RPG but it has changed a lot...
