Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactor - something we ALL should know about :)

As a nuclear scientist ( engineer ) Arnie never talks about the new ( well , not so new now , scientists knew about it way back in 1969 ! ) generation of nuclear reactors . It is quite surprising to me that people like Arnie hardly ever talk about such new technologies , is it because they don't think it's possible ? or is it because someone is keeping them quiet ? ( ie: NRC )

    LFTR - MUST WATCH !

  • @artyfarty3 Yes we look into this "INNOVATIONS"??

Fact is: we do not trust them. Friend pointed out

for me the truth about Thorium! MINING, exploitation

of land and nature Occupation of countries to still the sources

Enough isenough We have alternatives-so many exciting

discoveries water- carbon-winds-Tesla - Orgone energy..

Let's stop this system of exploitation of EARTH n people

FREE ENERGY FOR EVERYONE see TZMO

or VENUS PROJECT exciting proposals for different way of living

  • @r3VOLt23 orange energy ? what is that ? do they make electricity out of oranges now ? lol ;) - it wouldn't take much Thorium at all to power the whole world - only 5000 tones , that is nothing compared to the amount of iron you would need to make your windmills ;) besides , it takes over 10 years of running a "wind mill" just to return the energy you send to make one - so in short my friend - wind is not good enough .

Tesla ? did any1 build one somewhere ? there is NO PROOF to tesla.

  • @r3VOLt23 #2 : LFTR was build and OPERATED ( there is your proof ! ) back in 1965 - 1969 . It works , and it works over 90 times better then conventional water reactors . All the so called "alternatives" ( with the exception for Geothermal ) are pointless exercises in futility . They have been introduced by the big oil and coal companies to "muddy the waters" , to make you think you are taking the right step but all along you are using their oil & coal as the base energy . Don't you see that ?

  • @r3VOLt23 #3 : When i first heard of LFTRs i too had my reservations . After all it is "nuclear" energy , but when i studied it much closer in detail it sure is different then what we know and call "nuclear" . I'm not surprised so many people tend to turn away as soon as they hear the very word "nuclear" - but believe me , the 'stigma' that is attached with the word "nuclear" has nothing to do with LFTRs .

  • @r3VOLt23 #4:All i can say at this point is that if we don't seriously look in to finding a new way of generating a massive amount of electricity ( such as we are getting right now from coal , oil , nuclear or gas ) then we are doomed to live with less at higher prices -& that is what the "elite" want. By following the "green" path we are falling right in to their trap & i for one am not going to do that .LFTR could make that "energy revolution" happen right now if people would just wake up !

  • @r3VOLt23 #5 : You say your friend pointed out to You the "drawbacks" of mining . He is right on this point . We have been 'plundering' earth for resources , and we will be doing it for centuries to come ( if we live that long as a society , lol ) . The truth about Thorium is that we ALREADY mine it ! We don't need any more mines to get it . Trillions of tonnes are already in storage under the ground - just waiting to be used !

Another positive - ALL COUNTRIES HAVE IT !!! even the poor ones !

  • @r3VOLt23 ... so in conclusion : why do we allow governments to build and operate conventional , inefficient , dangerous "water reactors" when a PERFECT solution is right in front of us ? Would it not make more sense to change over to LFTRs and do away with long life "nuclear waste" and nuclear weapons they can produce ? - and have a WHOLE LOT MORE ELECTRICITY at lower price ?

P.S. sorry i have gone off on a "rant" - but this subject is very important to me ever since 1986 Chernobyl disaster .
