The bottom line here is that after the Phillies beat the Dodgers, the Yankees put a serious beat down on the Phillies in the World Series. 7-3 and 8-3 are blowouts by WS standards. Chipper had several injuries. How many times was he on the DL this season? Martin Prado had an injury at the wrong time of the season. What about Kris Medlen? Jason Heyward had his fair share. The Braves STILL made the playoffs.

Regardless of what happens, the Dodgers aren't even comparable to the 2007-2010 Philadelphia Phillies. End of story.

phillies suck ass? that's why we're tied for the yankees right now for the most wins in the mlb while your in 4th place in the NL West with a 73-77 record. i think someone's just jelous they got dominated in the NLCS two years in a row by the same team, and us phillies fans don't give a shit how boring other team fans thought it was, we're just happy we won the world series

@Ashesburnt4 There were seasons where my Braves had the best MLB record and NL record. That doesn't mean that the MLB officials should have called the season off and given the crown to them.
I thought people from the north were "superior" in grammar and punctuation. They sure claim to be. Clearly, you are not.
Just because the Phillies have the best team in the NL and MLB doesn't mean they have won anything.

@Ashesburnt4 I bet the Giants' luck against the Braves (yes, it was luck with the ump butchering a call at 2nd in game 1 and ATL errors in 3 and 4) gives them the momentum to be the team to do all of baseball a favor. Phillies are an insult to the game of baseball. Them and their fans.
