@7DaysofManna Well it's been two months since you posted this manna but pretty much if you put any kind of igniting lighter fluid into a Zippo, it should light. If it doesn't even spark when you light then the problem is the flint, either there's non left or you lost it somewhere because it's so small from being worn down. On the chance that you do get a spark and the fluid actually IS the problem, you should have no problem just using the Zippo fluid on top of the cheap fluid. It cleans it out.

This was badass. I didnt know the wick was that long and my mother just gave me a really old zippo, That had a flint that was stuck in it. Once i finally got that out and put in a new one and filled it up, when it lit the flame was very low, but all i had to do was pull it out and BAM works like new. Thanks a ton.
